I don’t like your girl names at all. BUt I do like Madden Thomas for a boy. Yes Madison is too girly for a boy. Why not use it if you have a girl? Madison Rose...or do you really want to use Mary some how? You have it in both other choices.

We thought that Madison would be too girly, but we were just wondering since it means "son of Matthew." We don’t want it for a girl. We want something very feminine. What would you sugguest?

Love Madden for a boy

Wanted to name my son Madden but my hubby couldt drop the football conotation. Love it. I think you could do Madison for a boy if you dont mide that he will also have a ton a girls around him with the same name. I think it would be cute I knew a guy named Whitney and it suited him well and he loved it.

I love Madden Thomas.
Mary-Jane would be my choice for the girl.

Thanks for the help. It really means a lot. We like Madison a lot. But we’re scared he’ll get picked on for having that name. Of course, there are many guys with girly-er names. I once knew a guy named Cassidy, and Eli Manning’s full name is Elisha (but then again, he’s a famous football QB with a superbowl ring... you’d have to be crazy to insult him). Cassidy, Elisha, and Madison are all considered "unisex" but more widespread among girls. And we’re leaning towards Mary-Jane, becuase Mary-Kay reminds me of the cosmetics company.
