I think Cary is fine for a boy. You can be one to take back the name for the boys!
My uncle is named Carey (Care-ey - I like this spelling the best) so I’ve always seen it as a boys name. We have a female neighbour called Carey but pro more like Kerry, I’m still adjusting to it being for a girl after 5 yrs!

I think that it is a girls name now. I wouldnt want my little boy to go to kindergarten and be the only boy named Cary with all the Cari, Carey and Keri’s out there.
