I prefer Olivia.. I think people would call her Olive, like the food. If you’re set on using Olive try spelling it differently like.. Olieve or Oleave!!

Everyone will call her Olive, and that’s not very attractive. Oh-leev really isn’t much better. Liv would be a nn for Olive but not Oh-leev, different sounds. Olivia is much prettier, and Liv works as a nn for it as well.

It would be pronounced ’Oh-leev’ (not like the food) .... Oh, well good luck trying to get everyone to go along with that. And get used to hearing people call your daughter Olive pronounced like the food item.
