My pricey idea: A really good idea would be to rent a hotel room for the night, have all the girls bring sleeping bags, you get the bed (: but let them hang alone for the night. They can go swimming, work out in the gym, watch tv.

Another idea is, my friend does this every year and she always is known for the best parties! She takes all of her close friends and we go out to eat at a restuarant. Then we walk around and go shopping together (everyone brings their own money) Then we go back to her house for a sleepover! It’s wicked fun!

Maybe take a day trip somewhere. I really don’t know much about Iowa. I like the hotel idea though. Maybe go see some type of show.

She has already done the hotel thing 3 times and she doesnt like shopping!

Wow, a girl who doesn’t like shopping! haha jk, I only like shopping when I have money to spend, so not that much ;)

She loves singing, dancing, swimming. She is VERY into the show Jon and Kate plus 8. We have done swimming and she didnt have THAT much fun! She is very shy and wouldn’t sing or dance in front of friends. She has been telling me she would like to go on a cruise with friends but i cant afford it. She also likes ice skating but none of her firends can ice skate

Ice skating is more fun when no one knows how.
Maybe go to a concert? Have you asked her? Maybe there’s something she wants to do that you haven’t though of.

she thinks i have it all planned out and i told her i dont and she cried because she doesnt know what to do I AM STUMPED!! any other ideas?? She said she doesnt want to ice skate

Spa party..get maincures, pedicures, etc. Go out to eat to a nice restaurant. Maybe she doesn’t want to do anything big, and you could splurge on an extra special gift she wants.

Yeah, maybe go to a concert, some cheap lawn seats. Personally, I would absolutly love to go to a Jonas Brothers concert again with my friends, oh my god is was amazing and super fun. Hmm... maybe, a boat ride, just for a couple of hours?

You could through a surprise party! Throw her off gaurd and a couple of days before her birthday, surprise her. Invite a bunch of her friends over and rent movie and ect.

Do you live near any cities? Maybe you could spend the day in the city. Go out to eat, see different attractions, etc. Plays/musicals, museums. Maybe a sporting event. concert, karaoke.

Masquerade ball? Rent a hall and have everyone get dressed like that. Give out beads and have everyone wear a mask. She would be in a mask so she could dance infront of everyone and not get embarresed :)

You could have a campout! Pitch up some tents, make marshmellows, have a fire...

Beach party, get a large tarp to cover the ground, spinkle some sand and shells. Fill some blow-up pools with water (:

Why dont you take her to a concert that maybe she will like or my favorite thing is to go down town for my b-day i dont know much about iowa but i leave really close to seattle so iit os not that hard for me

The spa idea is really nice. I think she would like that. If you don’t have the money to bring everyone to the spa, you can buy things for them to make manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, and everything, to each other. Girls like to do that. And many finish the day with a sleepover and movies. Would she like that?

You can go to an amusement park, bowling, rollerskating...or just a regular party at your house. Just get some chips, food, pizza, music. Trust me when everyone is there they find stuff to do. If you have twister you can play that. If you have a Wii, that too. So everybody could be doing something.

Is it hot where you live? I mean can you still go to the beach and everything? Cause here it’s around -10 degrees, so no beach for sure.

Maybe she would like to to wall climbing with her friends, cinema, paint ball.
Many she would like to host a murder-mystery party??

It is VERY COLD!!! We live close to Des Moines so no beach here!! WE cant do a pool party in March!! She would plan her own party if i didnt tell her anthing so no suprise party. We do have a Wii but im not sure what she would like. I like the Spa Party! Anyone else have other ideas.Our amusment park doesn’t open till june!

What about inviting her friends over to the house, and just let them hang out! If she only has two or three friends come over, you can do more. What about going to a nice (not too expensive) restuarant, and let them sit on their own. Then, after dinner, you can all go back home, and just crash in the basement, watching tv and just hanging out. Instead of planning, just let them do whatever! Maybe bring out a video camera and they can film themselves making commercials for products (that was always fun and memorable for my friends and I!) I think if she has good friends, they’ll have a lot of fun and more memories to look back on. GL, and let us know how it goes!

She seems like a very picky girl? A cruise...sure maybe she should rethink that..13? Cruise? Hotel 3 times...omg. You spoil her way too much..sorry just my opinion. Give her a nice party and invite her friends to hang and do what they like.

I think you should buy things like facial masks, nail polish and body lotions for her and her friends and have a sleepover.

how about a normal 13 year old hang out in the basement w/ a bunch of blankets & pillows, paint toes, giggle & tell storys? you don’t need to go on an extravagant cruise or anything. just a basement party with cozy blankets, music & chips. maybe fuzzy socks as a gift for everyone
