Forms of John vs. what are they?

Hello, I love John but my hubbys’ not to big on it? What are simular names or forms of John or names that mean God is Gracious. I know Ian is a form but I don’t think that ages well and I’ don’t like it. Thanks for your help courtney!

Since hank means God is gracious and Henry is a form of Hank is Henry a form of John? Cause we both like that name.

Henry is not a form of John nor does it mean God is Gracious, it means Home Ruler.

So Henry is really beautiful if you are willing to name your child something else besides John/GIG.

You could use John as a mn.
