I like it okay, but it seems more the kind of name that a mythology- or opera-lover would give their cat. (I hope you don’t mind my saying that! I am a lover of both those things and Freya was on my short list for our cat, but then we found out that the neighbor’s dog was named that already! We had thought the dog was named Crayon. LOL.) Freya seems a bit out-there compared to Catherine. I see Catherine as being a sister to someone like Elizabeth, or perhaps to Patience or Rosemary.

It’s a wondeful name, but I would go with Elizabeth Freya. I think Elizabeth goes best with Catherine, that way both girls will have a classic fn and a more unusual mn. Good luck!
I really like the name Freya as a first name. It’s unique and pretty.
