Hello. I’ve seen many names appear several times on these posts. Just today I saw a lot about Mara. Never heard of it. After reading through those polls, I see many people were fond of it. Do you really like it as a first name by itself? My husband and I just started a list of names for boys and girls. Our pregnancy was just confirmed this morning. Wish me luck. Renee

Its one of those unique and pretty names. However the pronunciations will always be confused. Not sure I would want my kid to constantly have to correct people with her name.

Mara is okay. I think there are a lot of nicer names out there if you have a little girl though.
