Ditto previous posts - I didn’t make the connection. I’m in the US though and Tim Horton’s is a Canadian chain, right? I really don’t think people will make that connection....Unless your ln is McDonald’s. : )

As long as you don’t have another son and name him Harvey I think you’re good. I do call it Timmies sometimes, but definitely wouldn’t think of the fast-food connection. You’re over thinking it

Don’t do it! Wendy and Timmy? I’d feel sorry for them. There’s a Timmies at like every corner and a Wendy’s at least like every 5 blocks. Don’t do it! What about Thomas instead nn Tommy?

We have Tim Horton’s in my area and I never would have made that connection. I think your sister is reading a little far into it lol

Timothy is lovely, why cutesy it to Timmie? If people ever tease you about Wendy’s and Timmie’s, just act all surprised and superior and say, "well we never eat fast food so I guess we never made that connection."
