Lana vs. Lillian vs. Ruby

we are expecting and I was wondering if anyone has tips about naming. As in I kinda want all my future kids to kinda have a similar theme. like if I go with Ruby I would have other gem names. and of course Lillian - other flower names. Is that wierd? I would appreciate any comments!

go ahead and pick out several names you like now...then see if they seem ok together!

I want to name my first daughter (if I ever get one) my maiden name....but then my other children will have older names, I have just accepted that they aren’t the same style...GL

I like Lana the best. Your theme for your other children could be that they all end in "a’s." Erica, Jenna, Shaila, etc.

Don’t go with a theme...what would you call a boy if you go with a gem theme or a flower theme??

I think it’s ok to go with themes but agree that it will be hard when it comes to boys names. I like all your names my fav is Lana. I also like Ruby Lillian. You could use a theme using the first letter of the names eg. L first born, M second born etc or R first born then S second born etc.

i think going with a theme is such a beautiful idea - a nice bond between siblings :-) I voted for Ruby :-) for other girls you could go with a flower girl name, such as Lily...

i love theme names for sisters. my sister and i have themed names and we’re in our 30’s now, and it a special connection between the 2 of us... I don’t really get why some people think it’s so bad, we both developed our own personalities, so it’s not like having themed named set us up bad or anything...
