Poll 2 vs. On Names vs. With Nicknames

I made a poll earlier asking for names with nicknames, what do you think of my favorites from the suggestions? Elaina- Lainey; Elizabeth- Libby; Amelia- Amy; Isabella- Bella, Izzy; Dalaney- Laney; Wesley- Wes. Also do you have any other suggestions, I was hoping for a few more ideas. Thanks for your help.

why do a nickname, just name her what you will call her?

My favs are Amy, Laney and Wes

1. I want the option of which name to call them.
2. I didn’t have one as a child and all of my friends did, so of course I wanted one.
3. I feel some nicknames sound too young, so I want at least their full name to age well.

Laney and Wes are my favorites soo far as well.

I’m right with you poster..there is no nn for Laura so my son is Thachary Alexander we call him Thac..and my daughter is Iridessa Evangeline we call her Dessa..I wanted my kids to have plenty of nn choices..
I love Laney as a nn and Dalaney is a beautiful adult name..and Wesley is a cute name and Wes is a perfect nn for a little boy or an adult..GL

humm...My name has no nickname and I loved it that way!! I plan to name my children names with no nickname, but to each his own!

I love the name Wesley and I also love Delaney!

Also love Annelise (nn Anna, Ann, Elise, Liese)
