Max David vs. Maximilian David vs. Macs David

Do you think we can go with just Max (or Macs) - I’m nervous Maximilian will be too much. What about Maxon - or Maxen - or some other form - not Maxwell or Maxime though.

I like Maxwell. I really like the child to have a formal first name and then call them something shorter if you want.....but I understand your dilemna. It’s a great name. Maybe someone can give you another option. Otherwise, I’d say just go with Max.

If it weren’t for your last name, I’d say go for Maximilian, but it’s just too much with Archibald. I say just use Max and be done with it.

I like Maxwell, but if you don’t, well...

Maximilian David is fantastic; Maximilian Archibald sounds very handsome and well educated. I do think Max can stand alone though, too. Maximo and Maximus are other full names I love.
