I have a friend named Catherine (Cate), so Phoebe Katherine makes me think of Phoebe Cates. Gia sounds a little strange with Walsh.

Thanks for everyone’s input! Since it seems to be almost a tie between the three names, I was wondering if anyone had any personal experiences with them. Not you knew a mean girl or a nice girl with one of them, but if you yourself have one of the names. Also, if someone with one of them has told you if they liked/dislike the name. Do you get negative/positive reactions to it, do you like it? Thanks

My friend is named Margaret and her parents always called her Maisie, but it got her teased at school because it rhymed with crazy. It took a while before the kids stopped teasing her and started calling her Meg instead.

I don’t know anyone with the names, so I’m no help there. I love all of them, Phoebe being my favorite. I also think that one will age the best, look the most sophisticated later in life, etc. Gia would be my next choice, although the name tends to remind of the Angelina Jolie movie Gia, about the model addicted to drugs who gets AIDs, which is obviously not the best thing to be reminded of! And unfortunately, now Maisie reminds me of children reproducing, due to the story in England. It also reminds me of a cartoon...mouse, I think it is. Either that or a bunny. Maisie is pretty but too cutesy for me personally. GL!!
