Cale vs. Yes vs. No
So I like Cale a lot mostly for the meaning, (Sweetheart). Of course every mom wants that for their child. But I know it’s a vegetable which I’ve never heard of until I shared this name with my hubby and it seems to come off the tongue a bit hard. What do you think of Cale? thanks

I like the sound of it, but would recommend using the spelling Cael to distance it from the veggie kale.
I think it depends more on the last name. If it flows nicely, then it’s fine.

I also like the spelling Cael better. However, I never heard of a veggie called Cale. I doubt anyone would make that connection, especially a kid.

I was also going to suggest Cade.I like it better personally.But I think the vegetable is spelled Kale isn’t it?so I guess it’s not that big of a deal.

I agree that most people wouldn’t make the connection with Kale. I think Cale would make a beautiful name. Its not like your naming ur like Cabbage or something LOL so I don’t think it would be a big deal. Besides these days lots of people name their kids after food at least your not considering apple. haha. Good luck!
