I think Lauren Mackenzie is really pretty. My daughter’s name is Sara Mackensi. We also thought about Hanna Mackensi and Karyn Mackensi. (We spelled it this way b/c I didn’t want a "z" or a "y" in her name.)

Lauren is sweet, but I don’t care for Mackenzie. Its little girlish. She would not appreciate a little girlish name when she got older. Its not that bad as a mn, though.

I think this is a very cute combo. I think we are naming our baby Lauren too, but haven’t decided on a middle name. Just curious...do you pronounce Lauren - lor-en or law-ren?

I think it is really cute. I have enjoyed my name for the last 30 years. Works well for an adult. I wish I had a cute mn like Mackenzie.

Lauren Marissa is cute too. I’m glad to hear an adult Lauren say she likes her name since i am leaning toward it too (sorry, butting into your poll) I pronounce it lor-en too. I still Lauren Mackenzie is cute. And the truth of the matter is you don’t use your middle name as an adult anyway really for the person who said it was unsophisticated. Good luck!

I LOVE Lauren Mackenzie, it has a nice flow.

I think people need to stop bashing Mackenzie. The truth is it is a very popular name right now, so 20 years from now there will be a lot of adults with that name. Thus, saying it won’t age is ridiculous.

It was already popular in the ’80s and there are already lots of adults with the name. That doesn’t mean that it’s a dignified, grown-up kind of name any more than Mysti or Destinee.

I think its a nice name. It flows well and sounds nice.
People will know her by Lauren Lastname, not Lauren Mackenzie Lastname.

So I guess the middle name Umbrella would be just as good, since nobody will know her by it.
