Kathy Dawn vs. Judith Dawn

Not Katherine or Kathleen just Kathy. We have a Katie in the family already do you think Kathy may change her name to that because I don’t want that to happen I don’t care for Kate, Katie, Katelyn ext. Thanks

I don’t really like either of them very much, to tell the truth. You might want to try names that don’t portray and old person in most people’s minds.

Judith is so much better IMO. Kathy by itself wont age well and she might want something more formal for when she grows up.

If you are using Kathy as her formal name, I would spell it with an ie. Kathie Dawn is cute.

Kathy is cute for a little girl! My mom’s friends are Kathy. Two out of three go by Kat now that they are older-so it really isn’t an old ladies name.

If you like Judith, but are worried about it sounding old, Jillian is a nice alternative. Otherwise Kathy is not one of my favorite, but follow your heart.
