Personally, I like it. I think it’s a very masculine, uncommon name. But I know there’s a lot of people out there that dislike it.

I saw on another poll that someone was going to use Jet as a nn and give him a name that has the initials J.E.T. ie..Jaden Edward Thomas. That way you can call him Jet as a pet name or nickname and he can go by whatever he wanted to at school...Jet or Jaden. Would that work?

jett is a love/hate name imo, and he may get made fun of, but it’s common enough that i’m sure that kids at school will have at least heard of the name--if that makes sense. if you love it as well as your husband (it’s important that YOU love it too,) don’t worry about it. at least it’s not a completely made up name. also, i love poster 2’s suggestion. i saw the same poll. use jet as a pet name/nick name, and he can have the option of going by a more grown up name as an adult if he would want. hope i could help! gl!

It’s definately masculine! I don’t know if I like it or not, I really can’t decide. But like one of the pther people said, make sure you like it too!

I do like it alot, but Id hate for my lil boy to get teased for it.. I love the idea of the initials though :) can anyone mention any nice J names? I love Joshua but its to popular!
