Sadie is a nn for Sarah, not for Sofia. You may as well say you’re going to name her Elizabeth with the nn Nancy.

Mercedes is such a white trash name. That is something you buy. Use Sadie Charlotte. I can’t believe you would think Sadie Sofia go together and where in the heck did you get Sadie as a nn for Sofia?? I mean, if you don’t have any more sense than this........we can’t help you much.

Okay...

One...Sadie is short for Mercedes.

TWO...Mercedes is of spanish origin see below. It wasn’t first a CAR...seems like you are the one without the sense. AND if you don’t want to help don’t comment!

I would appreciate a little respect Good Lord you must be an angry person to disrespect on a poll for baby names...hope you cheer up soon.

The girl’s name Mercedes \m(e)-rce-des, mer-cedes\ is pronounced mer-SAY-dees. It is of Spanish origin, and its meaning is "mercies". Used in reference to the Virgin Mary, Santa Maria de las Mercedes as "Our Lady of Mercies". Literary: the name of the lost love of Edmond Dantes in Dumas’s "The Count of Monte Cristo". Also the name of the German luxury car, which was named for a little girl named Mercedes. Mostly Catholic use. See also Mercy. Actresses Mercedes McCambridge, Mercedes Ruehl

Three...I never said Sadie was short for Sofia I said it is short for Mercedes because you pronounce it Mer-Say-Dees...who doesn’t have sense again?

You should get your facts straight.
