Sebastian Levi vs. Levi Sebastian
What do you think of these two names for our son? They were a suggestion we got a few weeks ago on here. Our other children are: Julietta Mae, William Hayes and James Ollivander. I really love the name Sebastian and would like it as a first name but it has personal significance to me -- like all my other children’s middle names. However, Levi has no significance so I don’t know if I should use it as a middle. Suggestions welcome.

I think Sebastian Levi goes best with your other kids. I like it too except for the nick name thing...guess you could call him Seb or Ian if you want a nick name.

We’ll probably call him Ian or just Sebastian. A friend of ours suggested Astian (like Ashton) but I don’t think it would click. Sounds kind of forced, if you know what I mean.

I think Sebastion Levi is a little too strong for a child. Levi Sebastion sounds better. You could always choose to call him Sebastion at an older time in his life. My cousin’s name is John and he goes by he went by his middle name Austin for 18 years before he became a lawyer.
