I love both of these names but I’d have to say that Julian "Jules" is above Leland for me. Not girly at all.

Juliana or Julianne is girly. Julian is sophisticated and classy.

I wouldn’t say those names are very girly. They could be Julianna and call her Julie or Leanna and call her Lea.

Leland makes me think of my friends goldfish. Sorry if I offended you, but when I see that name, allbi see is a fishy face!

Neither name is my favorite. Julian does sound too much like Julianne to me, and Leland seem like a fuddy duddy name to me, sorry....just my opinion.
