Jennifer Love Hewitt and husband, Brian Hallisay, welcomed a healthy baby girl on November 26, 2013. The pair named their daughter, Autumn James. Not only did Hewitt give birth but she married Hallisay prior to giving birth in a private ceremony. This is the first child for the couple.

I love Autumn, but James really gets me on a girl. It's not feminine or pretty, it's a handsome, strong BOYS name. I just can't stand it on a girl.

Most people try to make it feminine with adding -son to the end of it. It's like an undercover crime in the baby name world!

I don't understand how adding son to the end makes it feminine, that just makes it mean James' son...People baffle me.

I agree Autumn pretty, but I HATE James on a girl, though I'm okay with Jamie for whatever reason, maybe just because the first Jamie I knew WAS a girl.

Autumn is ok, it would be better with a more feminine middle name. James really, why do people do this, celebrity or not James is a boys name NOT a girls.

Odd one out, I guess... :P

I really like Autumn James. Autumn isn't a favorite for me, but I like it fine. My favorite part of her name is her middle: James. I actually can see it really easily on a girl - I love it! It seems so sophisticated and elegant to me...so weird I know, haha. What can I say? I dig it!

Just like with Carson Daly and his wife using Etta Jones! It is elegant in a modern sense.

Hope you're doing well! Long time no talk!

Yes, exactly - "elegant in a modern sense". That's what I was trying to say...

I am! 3 semesters to go..fingers crossed! I hope you and your family are well also. I saw the topic you posted recently - your children are beautiful! Hope your pregnancy is still going good. (:

Oh I plan to; I haven't come this far to quit now!

That's good to hear! I'm sure whatever name you choose will be fabulous.  ^_^
