How should this name be pronounced? Which do you like better? I'm leaning more towards (Sill-ah)
(Sigh-la) or (Sill-ah)

Silla
Syla
Sylla
Syllah

Syla would be pronounced Sigh-luh as in rhymes with Kyla or Lyla. Sylla would be Sill-uh like in syllable.

I agree with Madi, spelled with two Ls, I would pronounce it (Sill uh), like the end of Priscilla.
Spelled with only one L, I could see it going either way, (SIGH luh) rhyming with Lila or (SILL uh).

Personally I would pronounce all the ones spelled with an I 'sill-ah', and the ones with a y 'sigh-la'. That's just me personally though.

That's exactly how I feel, but wanted to get an outside opinion from other people about it!Personally I would pronounce all the ones spelled with an I 'sill-ah', and the ones with a y 'sigh-la'. That's just me personally though.

If it was spelled with a Y I'd use the 'eye' sound. If it was an I or LL the 'ee' sound.

Sila - Could go either way
Silla - similar to See-yuh (like in Spanish)
Syla - rhyming with Lyla
Sylla - could go either way
Syllah - could go either way
Sillah - Sill-uh
I think the Sy-luh pronunciation is much prettier personally I'd spell it Syla or Sylla
