I want to call my baby girl Ada for short and cannot think of a full name that would make sense if I called her Ada.

I have the same problem - I love the nn Scout (G) but I would prefer a more formal first name! Any ideas??
i very much love the name scout. i'd take it as it is. but if you want something that seems a little more formal, maybe something along the lines of:
scoutlyn, scotlyn, scotia, schuyler (maybe)?

ada is very pretty you could always just go with that. though, if you are looking for something a little longer or more formal you could go with:
adabella, adair, adalia, adamaris, adamina, adan, adara, adaya, cascada, jada, giada, lavada, nevada, shada, solada, vada, or zada?

Adara
Adele
Addiah (pretty out there, but it could work)
Adamina
Adelaide
Adabella/Adabelle
Adalee/Adaley
Adaya
Adette
Adia
Or, you could spell it Ayda, if you think it doesn't look like a full name as Ada.

If you don't like these options, you can always just use Ada. It is a very pretty name.
