What are your thoughts on Hamish? Too old fashioned? Ready for a comeback?
I saw you used it in the birth announcement thread, and it was easier to picture with a face to put the name to.

I actually think Hamish is kind of cute! It reminds me of the cute little brothers in Brave. I think that paired with the right middle and right sibset it could totally work.
What do you think of Giovanna Delia?
Giovanna is really pretty! It's got the same beautiful feel as Isabella without being overused. I'm eh on Delia, especially in the middle spot here since both names end in A.

Here's my question:
What are your thoughts on Castor, nn Cas?
I love the nickname Cas on boys but don't like any of the other options for it: Caspar/Casper brings the friendly ghost to mind, and Cassius, Cassian, Caspian, and Castiel all seem a little too pretentious-sounding to me. Castor is also a nod to Greek mythology and the Gemini constellation (Gemini is my astrological sign) so I think that's kind of cool.

I think Castor is pretty handsome, fresher than Carter and cooler sounding than Caspar. I like the link it has to your star sign as well. Not a fan of the nn, but Castor is very cool.

Thoughts on Hester? I'm crushing on it so hard right now, with the nickname Hettie

Honest opinions on Rowan Leyla Eve?
Hayden Dean, Hayden Seth or Hayden Colby?
I adore Rowan, I think it's super cute. Rowan Leyla Eve is a it long but it's not bad. I think the spelling Leyla might be mispronounced a bit but probably not too bad. I do prefer the spelling Laya or Laila but it's fine name. The Eve feels a bit tacked on to me and I like Hayden Dean the best.

Opinions on Finley and Lawson on girls?
Posted 17 October 2016 - 09:30 AM
I typically don't like -son names on girls since they tend to mean "son of...". Lawson is no exception. I can't picture it on a girl but I find it very dashing on a boy. There are so many gorgeous girl names out there so I don't always understand the appeal of boy names for girls, unless the name honors. Finley is cute on a girl, not my style, but I don't mind it. There was an adorable girl named Finley in my daughter's dance class last year so I think it can work very well.
Middle name ideas for Rhiannon? I had Rhiannon Ever but I don't like it with our last name (it's two syllables and starts with Brown so I think word names, especially colors, should be avoided).

Thanks (: I love the nn Izzy but I didn't like the original full names for it (Isabelle/a, Isadore/a, etc.) & although I love Elizabeth, I can't use it as a first name. So I just played around with some names to get the nn Izzy and got Isiana. I've never met anyone with the name and I love it's uniqueness.
Although I've never been a fan of Piper, I love Piper Elizabeth and Piper Laine. Some suggestions...
Piper Annabelle/Annabella
Piper Lillian
Piper Katharine
Piper Zoe
Piper Lucille
Piper Allison/Allyson
Piper Katrina
Piper Isiana (flows really well if you ask me)
Piper Gabriella
Piper Savannah
Piper Camil(l)a
Piper Shailene

My question...thoughts on Rory as a nn for Theodore?
I love the name Theodore and Rory is a really cute nn for it.
Thoughts on Hayden Dean, Hayden Seth and Hayden Colby?
Which nickname for Rebecca: Becky or Reby?
Posted 22 October 2016 - 04:10 PM
Thanks, Karina! I really love those suggestions! Out of your three names, I love Hayden Seth! Hayden Dean comes in a close second, and I'm not the biggest fan of Hayden Colby, although it's still cute! Have you thought about:
Hayden Andrew
Hayden Josiah or Joshua
Hayden Matthew
I've never been a big fan of Becky, but I think Reby is cute. I used to know a Rebekah who went by Bekah, Beks, and Bek.

I've always loved the thought of two middle names! One of my favorite combinations on my girls list is Jolie Claire (pronounced Joe-leee) (Long E sound, if that makes sense.) Though, I've had trouble with first names that fit. So far. I have:
Piper Jolie Claire
Amelia Jolie Claire
Edith Jolie Claire
Delia Jolie Claire
Any suggestions?

I love Jolie and Claire. They're both on my GP list. They're just gorgeous. Short but elegant sounding. I personally only like 1 first name on your list, Amelia, but I don't think it flows well with Jolie Claire. I agree above that Piper Jolie Claire flows best. Edith is a close second. Thanks, Karina! As I've told you, I absolutely love Isiana! Katherine flows beautifully with it. As far as Iris or Ivy, I think Ivy flows the best. Melina is my favorite M name. I also have Melinda on my list.
