I'd love Molly Kayla, but does it flow properly? Maybe even Molly Kaylin... I kinda like that a lot! Molly Kaylin!

Hehe, thanks so much! It's kinda funny that I've always liked both names a lot, yet I never thought of them :D

Plus, it also works that one of my best friends names is Kaitlin, so it could, like, be after her!

Thanks! I think the only problem might be that I plan to have a Katherine first, nick name Kate. So it would be kinda odd to have a Katie the a Molly Kaitlyn (which, I have to say i like the tryndy spellyng of Katelyn :insert sheepish face: ) I'd looove Molly Katelyn, but it's too close, huh?

I hate it when you love similar names, but if you love Katherine the most, Kate and Kaitlyn are way too similar then I guess you have to scrap Kaitlyn unless you decide not to call Katherine, Kate. I actually like the spelling Katelyn as its not as popular. Its a shame it has to go though

I would definitely pick Katherine, and I do think Katherine and Katelyn/Kaitlyn are too similar. Especially with Kate as a nickname for Katherine.

I like the spelling Katelyn, it's not too tryndy, it's just Kate and Lyn together. I guess it's a bit too similar, but not too much of a problem as middle names aren't used too much.

I always liked how it looked- Kate and Lyn together :D

But tis true, middle names aren't used very much! So I could proobably get away with Molly Katelyn and Katherine nick name Kate :P I think I would be the only person to really think much about it lol, the girls probably wouldn't care much :) Though, I'm guessing Molly Kaylen/Kaylin/Kaelyn would be too close to Kate to help the case :L

I am pregnant, and if we have a girl my husband and I are strongly leaning towards Molly. My brother and sister are ruining it for me though - apparently my sister had a PET GOAT (yes, a pet goat) named molly when she was little, and so whenever I see them they look at me with a grin and say "Mooooo-oo-llll-lllly", sounding like a goat. GRRR!

Anyway, I am having trouble with middle names to use with Molly as well. It is such a beautiful, classic name that you wouldn't think it would be hard, but I like the middle name to carry family meaning. Which of these middle names do you think would go best with Molly?

Kay - my mom is Mary Kay, and since Molly is a variation of Mary, I thought it would be a unique way to honor her.
Marie - too many M's I think. This is my sister in law's middle name, likely to be godmother
Jean - my sister's middle name
Clara - husband's late grandmother
Patricia - my grandmother...too old fashioned to go with Molly?
Faith - I just think it's pretty and strong
Rose - my late step grandmother is Rose Marie
Danielle - my younger cousin who lost her life to cancer, and my father's name is Daniel (my daugther's name is Morgan Rae, and my husband's dad's name is Raymond)
Lynn - my middle name and my mother in law's first name (although I am staying away from this unless we have another child for sure, since my father in law is honored through my daughter's middle name already)

Any thoughts or advice are welcomed! :)

Lol, I'm sorry about the goat! :)

Hehe, I don't even mind if it has family meaning, yet I'm still finding it hard to get it perfect!

I do like Molly Kay- though I love all names with the "kay" sound in it!

Molly Patricia is fine, there is really "too old" name to go with Molly, being Molly is old fashioned itself.

Molly Faith is adorable!

Molly Danielle is sweet too...

I think my list is getting better lol, I've been looking for middle names, so my list has grown a lot! I just need to work on it :D
