I have loads of guilty pleasure names. For me, guilty pleasure names are, the unusual and utterly ridiculous names that people come up with for their kids, that I actually find to be charming, but would never give to my own children!

Off the top of my head, names like Sailor, Maple, and Leighton come to mind.

Paris for a boy. I love it but I hate the Paris Hilton, it's a girl name thing
Hamish because I love the way it sounds but everyone thinks it's pronounced ham-ish not haym-ish

Astrid & Ryker - two Norwegian names I LOVE. Sadly, because I don't live in Europe, I think the kids would be teased about such names. Guess I'll have to marry a Norwegian, hey?

Hermione & Harrison/Henry - 'Harry' - HP Dork Alert!

Persephone - only if I was sure my daughter was going to be a tall, lithe ballerina. It's very airy and lovely.

Julian - such a nice name, but I just don't know if I'd name a child that.

Niamh/Neeve - who would think of the right pronounciation?

Conlan - I'm afraid kids would see this as a feminine name, for whatever reasons kids have, and tease him.

Gideon-Too much teasing potential to use even though I love it.
Damian-My family's said they'd make fun of a kid named Damian because of the movie The Omen.
Thor-I can't picture my son named Thor.
Lysander-Another one I can't picture using.

Rós-I love it but everyone says I might as well just use Rose.
Líadan-I can see everyone shortening her name to Lia which is okay but I like Líadan much better.

See, I don't have guilty pleasure names because I don't really worry about what other people think. My kids are Jersey (boy), Maximum (girl), and Addisyn (boy). My twins are going to be Bandit and Harley-Quinn if they're girls and Riot and Storm if they're boys. So I don't bother bottling up my favorite names no matter what others will say.

Rian (for a girl)
Sara (very very simple and common but I still keep coming back to it.)

I probably wouldn't use any of these names for my children, because if I did they'd kill me. I still like Orlaith a lot though.

Rylee (on a girl) I usually *hate* this on a girl, but I fell in love with this little kid!
