After taking in your neighbors' kids, you feel like if you take in any more kids through adoption, birth, or will, you won't know what to do. You get the opportunity to find out what you would do after you find out that you are pregnant with a new baby. You are very very nervous and during your pregnancy, you don't feel like you did during your others. You go to the doctor one day and find out that your baby isn't developing as much as it should. After taking strong vitamins and pills, your baby is born at just 31 weeks and is teeny tiny at 1 lb. 4 oz. While your baby is in the NIC-U, they are developing normally and strongly. The doctor's are very baffled and confused as to how this could happen but even so, after just 2 weeks in the hospital, you are able to take home your 1 lb. 12 oz. baby.

Your child develops very slowly and is smaller than every child their age. You take your baby to the doctor when they turn 3 and the doctor's run many tests over a period of 5 months. After all the tests and answered questions, you find out your baby has primordial dwarfism. You find out that this is a very rare disorder and you join a group of families with a child with the same disorder.
