Jade- Though a type nature name its not exactly one of my favorites, but has a good feel to it. So a 7.

Sienna- Makes me think of the color Sienna, but not all bad. So a 7 (If you want a descriptive combo, Sienna Jade is nice)

Savannah- Despite being well established, it has always been more of word for me. But not awful. So a 6 (Savannah Jade is cute too)

Kirra- I've seen Kira and Keera as well and personally not a fan of any of them. Seems a little childish. So a 6 (Though Kirra Madeline is nice)

Madeline- A very regal sounding name and good for girls and adults. A personal favorite. So a 9. (Madeline Mae is cute)

Alexandria- A very very regal and noble name, great for a girl. So an 8. (Alexandria and/or Alexandra Lynn is cute)
------------------------

JettAlexander: A little long and seems like Alexander would come first but still handsome. So an 8.

Jett: Not a big fan of words as a name, but is a kind of nature type (Jett is a type of mineral) so its nice enough. So a 7.

Alexander: A very very regal and empirical name, great for a boy. So a 9.
----------------------

Brody Parker- A very trendy sounding name, personally not a fan. Has a good flow though. So a 6

Brody- Not a fan of this name, seems a little modern, but its not awful or anything. So a 7.

Parker- Reminds me of a last name and Spiderman but not bad. So a 7
-----------------------

Mason Dashiell- A mix of classic/popular and trendy. Not bad, would work for all ages. So a 7

Mason- A nice name, not exactly a favorite but still cute on a little boy. So an 8.

Dashiell- Seems made up and modern but not awful, NN Dash would be cute on a little boy. So a 6
-------------------------

Kaylee Sophia- A little halting but the right surname would round it out well. So a 7

Kaylee- Not a fan of the double E- at the end, I prefer Kaylie but not all bad. So a 6

Sophia- This name makes me think of princess' too and its very cute. So a 9
-----------------

Kaylee Jade- Has a very modern and trendy feel to it, a little childish but not much so. So a 7

Kaylee- Not a fan of the double E- at the end, I prefer Kaylie but not all bad. So a 6

Jade- Though a type nature name its not exactly one of my favorites, but has a good feel to it. So a 7.
-----------------

Kaylee Alexa- Has a nice sound to it, modern but to much so, just a little hint of classic/dated with Alexa. So a 7

Kaylee- Not a fan of the double E- at the end, I prefer Kaylie but not all bad. So a 6

Alexa- Flows well, but seems like it would be short for Alexandra/Alexandria. So an 7.

Caylee- Not a fan of the double E- at the end or the C-, I prefer Kaylie but not all bad. So a 6

Paige- Very nice and smooth sounding. So an 8.
-------------------

Baylee Paige- Not a fan of the look, but the sound is very cute. So a 7

Baylee- Not a fan of this spelling, very childish looking, prefer Bailey much more. So a 6

Paige- Very nice and smooth sounding. So an 8.
---------------------

Mia Sophia- Much too rhymey and sing songy for me and so sounds rather childish, I couldn't see it on an adult. So a 5

Mia- A bit short, but a nice name all the same. So a 7

Sophia- This name makes me think of princess' too and its very cute. So a 9
----------------------

Cassidy Paige- Paige Cassidy seems to flow a little better but nice either way. So a 7

Cassidy- A nice name, a bit dated feeling but thats alright. So a 7

Paige- Very nice and smooth sounding. So an 8.
-----------------------

Emily Claire- Very cute and pretty! Has a great sound and look, cutesy but grown up too. So a 9

Emily- A cute little girl name, but can still be used as an adult name. I like Emmy/Emma or Elle as nicknames. So an 8

Claire- Very classical and sounds very nice (one of my favorites). So a 9.
-------------------------

Emma Nevaeh- Sounds a bit rhymey with the -Ah sounds in it, and the look is a little lacking. So a 5

Emma- Classical and sweet, but a little short but still nice, so an 8

Nevaeh- I personally can't stand Nevaeh. I don't know for some, but when you spell something backwards that makes it the opposite. So by making Heaven into Nevaeh your making it the opposite of Heaven which is H-ll. Plus its a word name, not only that a backwards word name word name. So a 2 (Sorry :( )

----------------------

Emma Rose- Extremely cute and pretty! I love it! It looks beautiful too! So a 9 (I've had it on my list for a while)

Emma- Classical and sweet, but a little short for my tastes, so an 8

Rose- Classic and a nature name all in one. I love Rosie as a little girls nickname. So a 10
----------------------

Sophia Grace- Another very cute and pretty combo! Cutesy but usable on an adult to. So a 9

Sophia- This name makes me think of princess' too and its very cute. So a 9

Grace- A very nice name, very calm and pretty. So a 9
-----------------------

Aidan Jace-Its alright, Aiden Chase would actually be pretty cute too. So a 7

Aiden- Very popular, not a huge fan but its nice. So a 7

Jace- Not a big fan, seems like its short for Jason instead of an actual name. So a 6
-----------------------

Tyler James- A little dated with Tyler but still very nice. So a 7

Tyler- Never been a fan but still a nice name, the nickname Ty is cute. So a 7

James- Absolutely LOVE this name and the nickname Jem and its so regal sounding! So a 10.
-----------------------

Cole Mitchel- Its nice, a little halting but the right surname would round it out well. So an 8

Cole- Love this name, a nice short and strong one for boys. So a 9.

Mitchel- A nice name, always reminds me of Michael for some reason though but I don't know why. Mitch is a cute NN. So a 7
------------------------

Joel Austin- Has a nice classic and antique feel from the FN, very nice. So an 8

Joel- A classic name and very nice, reminds me of the 30's movies star. So a 7

Austin- Not a big fan as words/places (Austin, TX) like this as a name but its nice enough. So a 7.
-------------------------

Elijah Chase- I think "Elijah Chases..." but still nice and handsome but cute. So an 8

Elijah- A biblical name with a nice feel to it. The nickname Eli is cute. So a 7

Chase- Seems more like a word to me but still nice though. So a 7
--------------------------

You said that Nevaeh was for you grandfather because he was up in heaven? Well, while its abstract, its very sweet, but perhaps a less common (I know 8 Nevaeh's) more accepted name would be better. What about Emma Haven, its close to Heaven and it means "safe place", I think it sounds very cute actually. Emma Angela, its close to and means Angel. Or perhaps a feminine version of your grandfathers name? My name is Lauren, which is the feminized version of my grandfathers name Loran, its the same way with my middle name. Just some suggestions since you could get so much flak just for having Nevaeh on your list. I honestly don't mean to sound rude or anything, just some suggestions :)

Hope you liked my ratings! I try to be as honest as possible without being mean or rude. I mean no offence what so ever, as I know everyone has different styles and opinions.

You weren't being rude at all! Actually, after reading what you commented on some of them, I couldn't agree more. But my grandpa's name is Billy Gene nn Bill. I don't like Gene or Jean. It makes me think of a jelly bean and is too old for me and I think Emma Billy sounds and looks kinda weird :/ I like the idea of Angela, but I don't like how they both end in "uh" . I do agree with Nevaeh being too trendy and what not, but I really cannot think of anything else :/ Maybe I'll just stick with Emma Rose. It still honors him with the fn Emma. Thanks for your help! :)

Josephine Michaela

or

Josephine Lucy

Which do you prefer?

Josephine Michaela- Has a nice sound, could even work switched around, but nice either way. So a 7

Josephine- A very regal name and sounds nice. Love Josie and Joy as nicknames. So an 8

Michaela- Never really been a fan. The look was "clunky" to me and never really liked the sound either. So a 6
-------------------

Josephine Lucy- I would prefer this switched around, the flow this way is a bit halting. So a 7

Josephine- A very regal name and sounds nice. Love Josie and Joy as nicknames. So an 8

Lucy- Seems a bit short, like for Lucille, but still very classical and sounds very nice. So an 8
--------------------

With these choices, I would switch the second one to Lucy Josephine and that would be my pick but Michaela Josephine, Josephine Lucy and Josephine Michaela are all nice too. Its just that Josephine as a MN in these cases, especially with Lucy, has better flow in both sound and looks.

Henry August
Roman James

Henry August- A little halting but the right surname would round it well. So an 8

Henry- This name is so cute on little boys and very strong on men. So a 9.

August- An older name that sounds very handsome on a boy, even if it is a month. So a 7.
----------------------

Roman James- Has a nice look and sound to it, modern yet classic. So an 8

Roman- Kind of modern yet old fashioned, though never been a fan of names like this (London, Bristol, China, etc) So a 7

James- Absolutely LOVE this name and the nickname Jem and its so regal sounding! So a 10.

Emmett Ray

Leander Micah

Robin Leonard

Violet Rae

Eden Rosalie

Fiona Lyn

Emmett Ray- Has a nice old fashioned feel though a little dated with Ray. So a 7

Emmett- A nice name but not exactly a favorite of mine. So a 7

Ray- Depending on the spelling can be a unisex name. A little short but nice. So a 7

------------------

Leander Micah- Switched around has a little bit better flow, but the right surname would do well. So a 7

Leander- Makes me think of the plant Oleander so its actually kind of close to a nature name. So a 6

Micah- Has a nice flow and ring and sounds nice, also a mineral name. So an 8.

-------------------

Robin Leonard- A little dated, but still nice for any age. The right surname would round it out well. So a 7

Robin- I consider this a nature name and I think it sounds very nice on a boy or girl. So a 8

Leonard- Not a big fan of this either but its very noble sounding. So a 7.

--------------------

Violet Rae- Makes me think of a violet colored ray of something (sun ray, gamma ray, etc) but not awful. So a 7

Violet- I love nature names and flower names are my favorite. It has nice flow too. So a 9.

Rae- Depending on the spelling can be a unisex name. A little short but nice. So a 7

---------------------

Eden Rosalie- Cute, but to cutesy for me to actually see it working on an adult. So a 7

Eden- Has a strong biblical feel. Cute on a baby, could work on an adult if a "common/tame" first name were used. So a 6

Rosalie- I love nature like names and this one is very nice. So a 9.

----------------------

Fiona Lyn- Very cute! Fiona Lynn looks better to me, but very sweet while working for all ages. So a 9

Fiona- I'll be honest, it reminds me of the movie Shrek but its still nice and Victorian sounding. So a 7.

Lyn- Prefer Lynn, but a nice unisex name (especially in the 40's and 50's), but a bit short for me. So a 7

-----------------------

Hi,

We just had a baby boy, a little unexpectedly early but all is well thankfully! He is small (b/c early birth, 36 wks, and b/c mom and I are small) but very healthy. We did not have a chance to decide conclusively on the name and have several ideas/questions.

We want a somewhat unique, masculine, short name that flows well and both our fathers are named James, so we wanted to give honor to them by incorporating James somehow.

Our ideas:

Baby to be called Wyatt

1. Wyatt James Lusk
2. James Wyatt Lusk or J. Wyatt Lusk
3. Wyatt Conan Lusk (doesn't use James, but we both really liked the name Conan. Did not choose as the1st name b/c concern for stigma and peer ridicule). If we do not use James here, we could use for our second son.

We also like the name Axel James Lusk but initially were thinking of using this if we have a second son.

Thx in advance for any suggestions!

Selene Aurora
Selene Amari
Selene Alexandra
Selene River

Selene Aurora- Has a nice sound, Selene makes me think of Serene and Aurora makes me think of calmness so a nice pairing. So a 7

Selene- A cute but grown up name. I love the spelling Celene the most, but both are nice. So an 8

Aurora- Unique but not entirely a "rare" name exactly. A nice first or middle name. So a 7
