Willa Violet Emery {6} is a foster sister of Maisy Jefferson. She didn't join the foster family until after Dylan West was gone. Her parents died when she was three in a house fire. Her dad grabbed her and got her out safe, and when he went back in for her mom and brother, he didn't make it out, and neither did anyone else. Willa remembers that day clearly and it makes her sad to think about. She, despite that, is a very happy girl and wants to make everyone feel loved. When she grows up, she wants to be a firefighter.

Levi Robert Wills (15) and Jack Arthur Wills (6) are foster brothers of Willa. Their parents died last year in a head on collision, and neither have handled it very well. Despite their troubles both Levi and Jack are happy and outgoing, and haven't lost their sense of fun. They love being in the foster house, but miss their parents everyday. They're hoping to be adopted together, and are glad that their social worker doesn't want to split them up.

Francis Day "Fran" Adams {3} is a foster brother of Levi, Jack, and Willa. He was dropped on the doorstep of a social worker when he was a brand new baby. The social worker placed him in the home he is now in the day after that. He's only ever known life in foster care. Fran is a very silly kid, though before he gets to know you, he is very quiet and cautious.

Margaret Eve Jefferson (33) is the stepmother of Maisy and foster mother of Jack, Levi, Willa, and Fran. Maggie loves kids and was very happy to welcome these kids into her home. She married Maisy's father two years ago. Her being a stay-at-home mom, a change since Maisy's biological mother passed away three years ago in a hit-and-run, the kids have grown to love her dearly. Maggie has a degree in teaching.

Kaylie Geneva Biggs [13 ] is Maisy's best friend sinc the second grade. Kaylie has an two older brothers and no sisters. Maisy was the only "sister" she eve really had. They had sleepovers, and they tell each other evrrything. She is excited to be in eigth grade and top of the moddle school food chain. Kaylie is a swimmer competivy but is mainly a sychronized swimmer.

Tyler Brighton Biggs [17] is the oldest of Kaylie's brothers. He's a decent older brother, doesn't pick on Kaylie much, though he does get frustrated playing her driver since he got his license. Though, in the past year he hasn't minded it so much as he's started hanging out with Levi Wills when Kaylie goes to see Maisy and they've become very good friends. The pair bond over their shared love of baseball and NASCAR. The pair are constantly playing baseball with some other guys in the neighborhood or just throwing the balls to one another.

Jacob Sawyer Biggs [ 15] is the one of Tyler's brothers and the older brother of Kaylie.He plays baseball just like his other brothers. He is excited to play for the high school and hopes he can make the team. He enioys comedy movies and gets along the most with his only sister, Kaylie.

Reese Olivia Walton (15) is Jacob's girlfriend of one year. She lovingly calls him "Jake." They bonded over their shared loves of comedy and baseball. Reese is the only girl on the baseball team, and though she's ridiculed by boys and girls alike for this, once they see her play, they shut up. Reese is MLB material, but she enjoys being a girl too sometimes. Her older sister is the queen bee, and though Reese doesn't agree with a lot of things she does, it has it's perks. Reese is confident and witty. She's always the first to crack a joke in class.

Riley Cormac Walton {15} is the twin brother of Reese and a friend of Jacob's. Riley doesn't play baseball, but he does play basketball, and is the star of the team. He and all of his siblings are athletic, as well as his parents. He and Reese get along ok, but don't hang out much. Riley is a little more serious than Reese, but still fun-loving. His girlfriend is actually Jacob's cousin.

Remy Katherine Walton (8) is the little sister of Riley and Reese. Looks-wise, she takes after their father, but she has the same blue eyes as Reese. Remy is very loud and outgoing and girly. She often makes comments that are far to mature for her to be making, and though they're funny, her parents worry that Reese and Riley are bad influences on her. She was an accident, but that doesn't make her any less cared for, though her mother is going to start working again to provide better for the family.

Rowena Anne Walton [36] is the mother of Reece, Riley and Remy. She loves them all and currently works part time as a restaurant waiter but is looking for a better job to help out the family. Her husband just got fired and now its up to her to keep the money coming in. She is the middle child, and usually isn't the most organized.

Matilda Nicole "Mattie" Mince {24} is the younger sister of Rowena, aunt of Reece, Riley, and Remy. She is the youngest child in her family; she has two older siblings. Mattie is happily married to a husband of 6 years (she got married on her 18th birthday), and she has a five year old, a three year old, and a newborn. She loves being a mom and would like to eventually have two more kids.

Jason Antony Mince(5) is the oldest son, and kid of Matilda. he loves dragons amd folklore. he wants to grow up to be a castle knight.

Della Ryan Mince (3) is Mattie's middle child. Della is a very frilly little girl. She loves playing with dolls, dressing up, and having tea parties! Della loves to dance. She was just enrolled in tap and ballet classes and she is so excited. Della is warm, loving, and wrapped around her mother's finger, being the only girl.

Edward Parker Mince {NB} is the youngest child of Mattie, little brother to Jason & Della. Edward is a very quiet but happy baby. He sleeps through the night, even though he's only a couple weeks old.

Maia Juliet Lancaster (16) is the Minces' cousin via Mattie's oldest sister. Maia is a socially awkward, strange girl who spends most of her time writing in her room. She lives in her fantasies, consumed by stories of love that she hasn't found. Maia has other siblings but she's a terrible sister.

Colton John "Colt" Lancaster {9} is a younger brother to Maia, cousin to Jason, Della, and Edward. Colt loves to be outside and explore, and most often prefers to do it alone. He's an introvert, and he's never been much of a "people person." He's not shy, he just doesn't have much to say. He makes good grades in school, but doesn't test well.

Natalia Jolie Markovic (42) is the older sister of Mattie and Rowena and mother of Maia and Colt. Natalia was adopted at age nine. She is very paranoid and she is divorced. Natalia works for her father's architecture company.

Peter Dwight Weston {38} (with his daughter, Aurora Kylie Weston {5}) is a colleague of Natalia, and he is working up the courage to ask Natalia on a date. Peter's wife, Aurora's mother, died three years ago, when Aurie was two. Natalia is the first lady he's looked at since the death of his wife. Aurora is an only child, and she has always wanted a sibling or two, so she hopes her daddy marries Natalia and she can have Maia and Colt as her brother and sister.

Jennifer "Jenny" Lila Weston (would be 36 now) was Peter's wife. She died at 33 in a hit-and-run accident. She was a loving, supportive wife who loved Peter and Aurora dearly. Jenny loved to run. Peter and Jenny met at a cross-country meet in high school when Jenny accidentally walked into the guys' locker room. They were high school sweethearts and married on Jenny's 18th birthday.
