my real name: Megan Alice
Meagan (May-gan,, but mum didn't think anyone would pronounce it right,, yet a lot of people have called be this by mistake)
Hope
My name is Meagan Breann.
It is pronounced May-gan. I get called Megan a lot, but I have just gotten used to it. Friends and family are careful to pronounce it correctly!
If I was a boy, I would have been:
Nathan Adam or
Seth Caleb
Then, my mom came up with Jaclyn. My dad didn't like it. I'm glad she didn't use this because it was very popular in my school.
I'm not sure what made her decide on Meagan, but she wanted to use Meagan Elizabeth. My dad thought that was too lengthy, so he picked Breann.
I love my name. I can't imagine being named anything else.

I am Erin Elizabeth
I almost was: Alyssa Erin/Elizabeth Erin/Erin Alyssa
My mom and dad had those names in mind, and they liked Erin Elizabeth the best. I prefer Alyssa to Erin, but whatever. I'll deal. So, my initials spell E.E.L. Lovely, huh? It would've made the same sound had they incorporated Alyssa. I do love Elizabeth though. Why they didn't make that my first name I do not know......
Hey! You have my name! I personally don't mind my name but I cannot stand Elizabeth. It's such a filler name when it's in the middle. As a first name it's fine. My paternal grandma named me while my parents tried to get over the shock of my twin brother being stillborn.
Had he not been stillborn I would have been Cheyenne Sioux (pronounced. Sue) & the name on my brothers death certificate is Lakota Apache (my dad was obsessed with Native Americans).
My parents also told me that they played around with Shy Anne (dad's idea), Samantha Shay (Dad vetoed it on a count of it being a "hooker name").
There's no boy names for me because my parents knew I was a girl from the start.

My name is Adasyn Claire. My dad told me that him & my mom considered naming me Mollin Grace but, they thought it was kind of an odd first name. Lol. They also considered Reese Leeanne for my name but, they ruled it out when they found my name Adasyn Claire. If I would have been a boy my dad told me they would've named me Landon Mitchel.

I was almost named Cleona Aileen. It was nixed because it was too rhyme-y with my sister Seonaid (prn: Shona... and Klee-o-na). Hahaha. Thanks mom!
If I was a boy, my name would have been Eamon (aim-an).

I was almost Jessica Leigh for no other reason then my mon liked it, but right before I was born she saw a bunch of Jessica's that had just been born in the newspaper. Thank God, I liked not having to be Regan R. in school
If I was a boy I would have been Robert Jared "Jared" family tradition, I'm glad I don't have a brother tho because every Robert I know is a jerk

My name was almost Marley, Dakota, or Blake. Dakota was the first to be ruled out. Somehow, my mom knew that I was going to be a girl...so she says. So, there really wasn't a need for a huge list of names? She had always liked Blake and originally wanted it to be my first name. Then my daddy brings the truck home. A brand new (at the time) 1992 Dodge Laramie.
...annnnd then came my name, Laramie. And Blake just because "Marley" didn't fit with it.
So I guess you can say I'm pretty country-fied. (:

I think the agreement was always that my Dad could pick the girls names, and my Mum the boys, but Mum somehow managed to pick all of the middle names. Still, I'm glad she didn't pick my first names, 'cause I would've been either Hope or Scarlett, and seen as Scarlett doesn't go with my surname, and I hate Hope as a first name, I think I got lucky
If I'd have been a boy, I would've been Jack. I don't know about a middle name, but I can guess from what my brother would've been called, that it would've been something like Jacob, Aaron (my brother's two names), Marc (after my uncles) or Isaac. Something like that, anyway.
I thought I'd put my brother on here as well, 'cause I know a bit about his name.
Jacob Aaron is the English version of one of the Jewish boys my Mum used to mind (his Yiddish/Hebrew name was Yakov Aharon - excuse the spelling if it's wrong). Marc is after my two uncles; Mark Gavin and Christian Mark. To make it seem fair they put it third, so there wouldn't by any "favouritism".
As far as I know, the only other two names they considered were Isaac and Niamh.
(as a side not, my little cousin stoll my Mum's names; Gracie Neve and Jack Louis)

I recently found out that my name was going to be Allison, but a cousin of my Mom's named her daughter Allison a week or so before I was born.
(I'm kind of glad, because I couldn't see myself being an Allison--and I LOVE the name Catie)
If I had been a boy, I think my name would have been either Ryan, Isaac or Grant. (I would have liked Ryan, although it's popular)
My sister Mandy (Amanda) was almost named Megan. The reason she wasn't was because my parents thought Catelin and Megan would have been too close.
My youngest sister, Joy (Rebecca Joy) could have been Bethany Joy or Isaac something. (Don't remember what)

My dad wanted Beth which is cute but I don't like nicknames as the legal name.
My mom wanted Angela which is cute but I just don't think I look like an Angie.
If I was a boy I would have been Eric Christopher which is my brothers name. Eric is after the family name Ericson and Christopher is after the basketball player Christopher Mullen.

My parents were considering
Molly or Stephanie
I'm glad I was a Claire hahah
If I were a boy, I probably would've been named Jeffrey or Daniel
