Dear Diary,

Today Alex and I brought home the babies! After two long weeks at the hospital, Nate and Emma are home. Albeit, its only my parents guest room, but it finally feels like we are a proper family. Nine months ago I never would have predicted such a happy ending for me and the twins but with the love of Alex and the support of my family I've made it. Only in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would meet as great a guy as Alex.

When I first met him and I was only six weeks pregnant I thought there had never been a worse time to meet such a wonderful man. I was just about to become a mother to two babies without their father's help. But our love grew quickly and a short six months later I knew there was no one else I wanted in mine and my babies lives. It has been a whirlwind romance but I would not have had it any other way.

Dear Diary,

I have not slept in a month. A whole month and all I've had is an hour of sleep here and a short nap there. I can tell you first hand, having newborn twins and another set of twins under two is excrutiating! But in the end it's worth it when they smile for the first or take their first steps. We hit another milestone today: the twins are officially a month old. Which means it has also been a month since we lost the third baby. I still feel empty without triplets in the house but I know that our Angel Boy is watching over us.

We are also celebrating something else this week: mine and Alex's eight month anniversary! Although it is not a traditional anniversary we never actually got to celebrate six months so we are using eight months instead. My parents have agreed to watch the kids for a night while Alex and I drive down to the beach we were married at on September 8, 2013. I can't wait for a peaceful night's sleep!

Dear Diary,

Our baby girl Bethany is a little more than a month old now and she is such an angel. She hardly cries at night and feeds on schedule everyday. She is such a blessing amid the chaos of our four other kids. Nate, Emma, Hugo and Audrey are full of energy and always running around the house, screaming. But Beth's four older siblings love her too pieces and are so gentle with her.

Emma has an especially soft spot for Bethany Aurora as she is the one who chose the middle name 'Aurora' after Sleeping Beauty. We fell in love with the name right away and knew that the perfect first name would be to honour my grandmother Elizabeth. Alex and I are so happy to have another little girl even though she was somewhat a surprise.

Dear Diary,

What an eventuful past year! Not only did we bring a baby boy into the family, but we also began homeschooling the kids and on top of that moved to Ottawa for a promotion that Alex recieved. Six months ago we gave birth to Charlie Sebastian who was a complete surprise. Then shortly after Bethany began acting out and rejecting her baby brother. Alex and I decided that our family needed to regroup as unit, and so we turned to homeschooling.

Once the school year was over and everything was back to normal, Alex announced the plan to move and our world was rocked again. We quickly packed up our bags and moved to Ottawa. It was a hard move for all eight of us, but we made it and we are loving our life in Ottawa.

Dear Diary,

Two days ago, Josh and I welcomed our 7th baby into the world. Seven kids!! Sounds a little crazy, and although Sebastian was a complete surprise we love him all the more.

The Christmas vacation was a little wild! Lucy started biting and hitting all the other kids, even Seb. So I asked Ben and Will to help me out and they did. Within a week, Lucy was done with the hitting and biting. Then, Will told me something that no parent wants to hear. He was being bullied at school. He asled me if he could finish the year at home and I said yes.

You're lost for what to do and when the twins offer to take time off school to help, you greatly appreciate it. You become closer to them and soon find out the twins are being bullied at school. They're failing almost everything because of it. You decide to home-educate them. Their schoolwork improves dramatically and they are a great help in making sure the toddlers get a fair share of attention. It takes six months of decreasing gradually before the biting and hair-pulling finally stops.

Today baby # 7- SEVEN- was born. Cam named him Charlie Maxwell. Harry does not like being another middle kid. She tried to MAIL HIM. She put a stamp on him! And Harry's only 2! I was suprised she even knew about mail, but Cam thought she was just being cute! So I hope she is only playing and goofing off.

Harry started pulling Charlie's hair. Charlie doesn't have much hair to begin with! I hate hearing both of them cry! I'm tired enough as it is. My savior is Chrissy. She's great with all the kids. I haven't told the twins that Cam isn't their real dad yet. I don't know if I ever will. Cam acts like their dad.......Oof I got off topic. Any way, Chrissy keeps Harry occupied and the boys play together and Lottie plays with Wendy, while Charlie and I take a nap. I hate weekdays, when the big kids go to school and Cam's at work. I have to put up with the screaming. I love all my babies, but I can't handle constant screaming. I'm sorry, I sound like an awful mom. I am a awful mom.

They bite each other now. Chrissy offered to take a couple days off school to take care of Harry and Lottie will take care of the baby. They want to let me and Cam go on another honeymoon it's so sweet of them. Cams excited hes going to suprise me with a 3 day trip to SOMEWHERE. Hehe

We're back from our trip. He took me to NY! It was amazing getaway. The kids were great and they behaved. I was so suprised. I was glad. The Girls might have to stay home more often. Wink wink


I had to go to Christina and Lottie's school today. The counseler said they were being bullied! And Lottie was failing 2 classes! I couldn't believe it!

Cam suggested we pull the girls out of school. They will be homeschooled. They girls are actually excited! Charlie is a happy baby now, and so is Harry. They are unseperable. We had to put the toddler bed in Charlie's room because Harry would cry all night. It's so sweet and I'm so happy they get along.

A little more than a year after having Lucy, I found out that I was unexpectedly expecting again. Baby #7 arrived exactly on his due date of December 12 and we named him Nathaniel Milo.

It was just before school started, a year later, that Lucy began to act out. She seemed to take out all her anger solely on Nate which was very troublesome. At the same time I began to suspect that Charlie and Liv were possibly being bullied at school. So I made the decision to home school them for that year. As well, having them at home was helpful when dealing with the Lucy situation.

It took six months but finally, Lucy stopped bothering her brother with the help of Charlie and Liv.
