Melissa Gray Hadley "Missy" (14) is Atticus's niece, whom he took in after the loss of his sister and brother-in-law, Missy's parents, in a car accident. She was their only child. Missy loves soccer. Atticus taught her to play when she was two or three and she has loved it ever since. She is on the Elite U15 team for her dominating club. Missy uses sarcasm and slight insults as a barrier to separate herself from people emotionally. She is only close to Atticus, his wife, and their children, the oldest of whom is seven. Missy plays with the oldest girl and gives her soccer tips. She is always at every game. Missy is dating a serious soccer player who is two years older than her and her popularity has surged, though she doesn't much care.

Agnes Ramona "Aggie" Higgins {7} is the daughter of Atticus, cousin and practically sister of Missy Hadley. She was named after her grandmothers, Agnes and Ramona. She loves sports of all kinds, but her favorite is basketball. She's also quite good at running like her mom. Aggie loves having Missy around the house, she looks up to her. Aggie is a die-hard Minnesota Timberwolves fan.

Jordan Michael Bourgeois [7] is a basketball teammate of Agnes on the little league coed basketball team she is on. He is the coach's som and is rather good. He was named after the famous, Michael Jordan, and he lives up to become a national basketball player. He almost never seen with his basketball, in bed, at school, or in church. he is the youngest in his family. He is eight years younger than his next sibling.

Amber Lane Bourgeois (15) is Jordan's older sister. Amber was named after Wilt Chamberlain (Amber Lane, Chamberlain). Amber played basketball when she was younger, now she prefers lacrosse. She was furious when Jordan was born as he was the product of an affair her unstable mother had. Amber loves Jordan, though, and is always shooting hoops with him in her dad's backyard. She also loves art and is in Art Club at school. She's sort of a theatre/art hipster girl, but has a lot of popular friends. Amber's older brother is in college right now. They are very close and she tells him everything, including a dirty secret about her boyfriend.

Bryant Kobe Bourgeois [21] is the older brother of Amber, and Jordan. He was named after Kobe Bryant. Bryant was very much aware of his mother's affair with her coworker which resulted in Jordan. He never told his father because when Jordan was born he was so filled with Joy. His mother was lucky that jordan was a spitting image of her husband (Amber and Bryants father) that nothing was ever said. Bryant is also a spitting image of his father but has the the smile of his mother. He also knows the secret of his sister and her boyfriend, but has promised no to tell. He isn't much of a hater in the world but he hates the fact that his family has so many dirty secrets.

Jenna Riley Rosen (20) is Bryant's girlfriend. Jenna has been a cheerleader all her life, but now it has become "too slutty and obsessive" for her. She cheers for their college's football and basketball teams. Jenna and Bryant bonded over their mutual early teenage love of Lord of the Rings (Jenna's initials are JRR and she always joked that she was JRR Tolkien's long lost granddaughter), but have moved on to discussing and quoting Stephen King's works. Jenna loves to write fiction and has gotten a book deal. She can't wait to tell her sister, who always used to read her stories.

Hilary Shannon Rosen {28} is the older sister of Jenna Rosen. They have no other siblings, just the two of them. Being eight years apart, Hilary was always very protective of her little sister. She would play tea party with her, read her books, and stand up for her if anyone was mean. Now that they are grown, they are still close. They don't live in the same town, but they talk on the phone often as well as text. Hilary is a first grade teacher and she loves her job and helping kids. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for four years. Together, they have a two year old and are trying for a second child.

Emerson Michael Wilkes (6) is one of Hilary's students. Emerson loves reading and building little houses with sticks, leaves, and stones. He's pretty much a loner, and he loves talking to Hilary. His maturity and insight often astound adults that he talks to, but other kids think he's a "smarty-pants." He is tormented by two popular kids, a boy and a girl, who are "dating." Emerson is the youngest of three. His parents think he might have Aspergers Syndrome.

Caleb Harrison Ross [6] and Melanie Lucille Preston [6] are two students in Hilary's class. They are the two popular kids in the class, and they tell everyone that they are "dating." Both of them come from wealthy families, and are very stuck up and often rude to the other children in the class. Melanie is very into fashion, and is always the best-dressed girl in the class. She refuses to ever wear pants, and calls other girls in the class boys when they wear pants. Caleb likes to tell the other children that his lawyer father could make them go to jail or could sue them until they are poor. They particularly love to torment their classmate Emerson Wilkes.

Acadia Joy "Cady" Preston {14} is Melanie's eldest sibling. She is often annoyed by her little sister, she thinks Melanie copies her. Cady is rather popular in her grade, she is dating her school's quarterback who is three years older than she is. She doesn't even have her driver's permit, but she's already begging her "daddy" for a car. She wears designer clothes everyday, and she calls the other kids poor when they don't.

Zoe Madeline Marshall (15) is Cady's best friend. She's dating the star receiver for the football team and he's three years older than she is. Zoe comes from a snobby rich family that couldn't care less for her. Zoe is an "affair baby." Her mother slept with up to five men at a time during a four-year period of fighting with her husband. Zoe is what tore the family apart and she never got the childhood that her older siblings got. Her guilty mother does anything for Zoe. Zoe is cheating on her boyfriend because she wants the men to feel the same thing that her biological father and adoptive father felt. She doesn't know why she wants them to feel this way, but she is compelled to do it. Zoe is seriously emotionally disturbed. She, unbeknownst to her friends, loves MMA and works out at a local gym to try and get her anger out. She really loves her boyfriend and is trying to break it off with the guy she's cheating with.

Tatum Bradley Ross [18] is the boyfriend of Zoe Marshall. He's also the star receiver of the schools football team and is overall a very good student, he's in his senior year while Zoe is a sophomore. Despite coming from a very wealthy family, his father is a lawyer and his mother is a surgeon, Tatum is not much of a snob, his mother taught him to be mannered about his socioeconomic status and to instead rely on his own intellect, charm and skill instead of family money and Tatum has taken that thought to heart. Though, perhaps what has really cemented it for Tatum was his parents divorce. Tatum's parents divorced when he was ten years old and not even a month later his dad had remarried to a snobbish model who was only twenty years old. She was closer to Tatum in age than his father's age. Tatum is not that fond of his step-mother, or his half-siblings. Tatum was an only child before his dad remarried, now he has three younger half siblings, the eldest being Caleb Harrison Ross, he has a half-sister who is four years old and another younger half-brother who is a year old. Tatum doesn't mind his youngest half-brother or his half-sister too much, but Tatum does have a big issue with Caleb. The kid is a little snot, he's not nice and bullies other kids and Tatum can't stand it. He hates what his dad's become and how stepmother lets Caleb get away with being a jerk. Thankfully, Tatum is able to get away from that by being with Zoe. Tatum loves her, he adores her upbeat energy and would move mountains for her. He's constantly showering her in little gifts with a lot of meaning to them. If Tatum knew that Zoe was cheating on him it'd break his heart.

Sienna Julie Ross (nee Dane, in the modeling world she goes by Sienna Dane) (28) is Tatum's step-mother and his father's second wife, also the mother of Caleb Ross and two other children, a boy who is one and a girl who is four. Sienna is very bratty and superficial and has been since she realized that she was really pretty. She married Mr. Ross because of his money but has since grown attracted to him and actually loves him. Sienna can't stand Tatum because she wants her children to be just like her and the girl really looks up to Tatum.

Juliet Aubrey Ross [4] is the daughter of Sienna Ross and her husband, the younger sister of Caleb, the older sister of a one-year-old brother, and the younger half sister of Tatum Ross. Juliet's family is very wealthy and privileged, and Juliet has everything she wants and always dresses in the latest fashion.Because her mother is a model, Juliet has been modeling herself since she was a baby, and has been n a number of well-known advertisements. Despite this, she is generally a pretty easygoing child, and is not at all the snobbish drama queen that her mother is. Juliet is really close to her older half-brother Tatum. She thinks that Caleb is a "meanie head," but she loves her baby brother.

Alia Rosanna Ptačék (4) is Juliet's best friend. Sienna and her mother are good friends. Like Juliet, Alia has been in the modeling business since birth. She's the spitting image of her mother. Alia tends to be bratty but not as much as her mother would like her to be. Her father is sweet and caring and she loves playing with him more than her overbearing, chiding mother. Alia loves all things pink, but is also very well-behaved when someone is dressing her up.

Abel Trey Ptacek (15) is Alia's older brother. Abel, much like his mother and sister, does some modeling but not as much as his mum would like and not nearly as often as he used to. As a way of rebellion against his mother, he's chosen an alternative look which has been supported and funded by his father. Despite the gate he puts up, he's a very caring and sweet young man, an especially good brother to Alia. Most of his stress is a result of his mother's pressure to try modeling again.

Asa Ronan Ptačék (20) is the older brother of Alia and Abel. Asa is a top model worldwide and is the only child that lives up to their mother's standards. He loves his profession because it "gets (him) girls." Asa crashed his dirt bike when he was eight and as a result has a few scars on his face. His father tells him to let them show but his mother encourages him to cover them. Asa isn't sure he wants to be "the perfect child" anymore, especially with little Alia around. He wants to be a good role model for her.

Eden Juliana Turner {20} is the girlfriend of Asa Ptačék. She, too, is a model, and that's how they met. The one thing she hates about their relationship is how girls are always flirting with Asa, even when they know he's taken. Eden is one of three children from a fashion photographer mom and an actor dad. All three of the kids, including Eden, are in some sort show-biz and have been since they were born. When Eden isn't modeling, she's usually in commercials. She has been considering trying out for a television show lately, but isn't extremely confident in her acting skills.

Leah Arabella Stone (nee Turner) [25] is the older sister of Eden. she broke off from the family business of modeling, when she was in high school after the modeling agency urged her to dye and cut her hair. As well as encouraged for a nose job. Leah refused and left. She loves her family but hates their business. Leah is the oldest out of three children, with Eden being the middle child. She has a younger brother who is still in high school, whom she get long way better than with Eden. She is married and is currently pregnant with her first child.

Rhys Jacob Turner (14) is the younger brother of Leah and Eden. Rhys is in that stage where he is transitioning from child modeling to male adult modeling. It's difficult for him to learn new techniques, but he is catching on. He hates how Eden gets jealous of girls flirting with her boyfriend even when she knows he doesn't like him. He thinks his sisters' lives are so perfect. He doesn't have a girlfriend yet but is planning to ask his best friend (girl) to the dance at his private high school. Rhys is a but cocky but loves old music and classic literature.
