Nathaniel Roman James Weaver {6} is the son of Luka Mauro. His mom is single and vows never to get pregnant again, even if she does marry. Nathaniel's a good kid, though. Very serious and mature for his age, calm and easy-going as well. He remembers his dad, but hasn't seen him since he was three so he doesn't miss him much. He does long for a father-figure in his life, he always befriends any men in his life. Nathaniel's mom lived in Hawaii for about 5 years, 3 of those years were after Nathaniel was born.

Rominia "Romy" Violet Weaver [25] is the mother of Nathaniel. Romy spent five years in hawaii and met Luka, Nathaniel's father and never expected to get pregnant and when she did she got scared and vowed to never get pregnant again. She prefers to be a single mom and usually gets guys to whistle at her but she hates the attention from the opposite sex. She currently lives in Washington state, and works as a journalist.

Anna Evangeline Jameson {27} is the best friend of Romy Weaver. They are co-workers, Romy a journalist and Anna an editor. They hit it off even before discovering that they are both single moms of kids the same age. Anna is a widow; her husband, Nick, died serving in the military a year after marrying her, while Anna was still pregnant with Nica. Recently, a dashing gentleman has been pursuing Anna, but she's reluctant to start dating again so she isn't sure if she'll go for him.

 

Nica Amelia Jameson {6} is the daughter of Anna Jameson. She is good friends with Nathaniel Weaver due to their moms being so close. She's a fun girl, always making people laugh. She is her mom's pride and joy, the apple of her eye.

Jeremy Nicholas Mathis [19] is the younger brother of Anna and uncle to Nica. He is in the airforce and is currently home for the holidays and visiting. He enjoys spending time with his family and taking care of his nieve. He has three older siblings, beside Anna, and two tounger ai lings.

Luke Edward Mathis {30} is the eldest of all 8 Mathis children. He served in the Coast Guard alongside Nick Jameson, Anna's late husband. Nick didn't have much family, so he came home with Luke one Christmas and that is how he met Anna. Luke loves the military and is proud to come from a family of military men. Luke and his wife of 8 years have 3 kids and one on the way; 2 sons, 1 daughter, and another boy coming.

 

Griffin Axel Matthis {6} is the oldest child of Luke Mathis, nephew of Anna Jameson and Jeremy Mathis + 6 others. He has a little sister and a little brother. Griffin is a very sweet, laid-back kid. Everyone thinks he is just like Luke. He wants to fly in the Air Force like his Uncle Jeremy and his grandpa one day. He loves swimming and climbing trees, as well as tinkering on cars with his dad and grandpa. He is very protective of his siblings.

 

Jasper Britt Mathis {2} is the youngest (soon to be second-youngest) child of Luke Mathis. He's very serious and hardly smiles or talks. He always accomplishes what he sets his mind to. He loves to eat.

Delilah Reese (nee Armand) Mathis [29] is the wife of Luke and mother to Griffin and Jasper and soon to be another baby boy. Delilah loves her kids and is a stay at home mom. She enjoys the beach, which is her favorite place in the world. She enjoys making pasta necklaces and play doh at home with her boys. Delilah was a nurse in the coast guard and met Luke there while she stitched him up one night. She is the middle child in her family.

Calla Juliet Mathis (5) is the daughter of Delilah and Luke Mathis. Calla and Griffin are only 19 months apart. Calla loves her family. Her friends often complain about their siblings, but not Calla. She loves her baby brother and idolizes her older brother. She shares her mother's love of the beach. Her father often says that seawater runs in their veins instead of blood. Calla has already exhibited mathematical prowess. As a  rising kindergartener, she can already multiply and do long division. Pasta necklaces are a long time favorite of hers. Her favorite uncle introduced them to her. Calla is beyond excited for the new baby. She's started calling him "Joey."

Sara Angela Mathis [21] is the younger sibling of Luke and Anna, and older sibling of Luke. She has a twin brother, an other two older brothers, and another younger sister. Growing up in a large family never bothered Sara, on the contrary she loved it. She is currently studying to become and event planner organizer at the University of Arizona. She is daring,wild and spontaneous. She loves being with people and planning surprise birthday parties.She is the Aunt to Griffin, Calla, and Jasper.

Alexandra "Alex" Jane Hale (20) is Sara's best friend and roommate. Alex has a late birthday (August 19th) so she can't go out and drink with her friends yet. Alex was always very stubborn and independent. She's studying neuroscience at U of A. Alex loves to draw. She doodles everywhere, all the time. At the end of the year, she has to go through all of her textbooks and erase the drawings. Alex and Sara have been inseparable since they met three years ago. Alex even goes home for Christmas with Sara sometimes (she's Jewish, so she spends Christmas with the Mathises and the break itself with her parents). Alex's sister flunked out of college five years ago and disappeared. Alex was never close with her but always wonders what happened. Alex wants kids so badly. She loves kids. She started babysitting when she was thirteen and just adores them, which is why she loves spending time with the Mathis family: she gets to play with Sara's nieces and nephews.

Sean Anthony Mathis [21] is the twin brother of Alex's best friend, Sara. Sean has seen Sara and Alex grow up together and has always had a crush on Alex but never admitted his feelings for her becaus e it would be too awkward to date your sisters best friend. Sean is stidying to become a chef. He enjoys cooking especially during the holidays.

Ada Noelle Paisley {20} is the new girlfriend of Sean Mathis. She has no idea that Sean has a crush on Alex, but she's very chill so even if she did she probably wouldn't be upset. Ada is studying to be an architect and is quite good at it. She currently has an internship and an interior design company which she also enjoys. Ada has 2 sisters, one older and one younger. Her older sister has 4 kids that Ada just adores.

Johanna "Jojo" Muriel Duron [2] is the second youngest niece of Ada. Jojo loves her siblings especially her younger brother who is a couple months old. She loves carrying around her babydoll in a stroller and insists it have its own seatbelt and booster seat in the car. She has two older siblings.

Adam Robert Duron [2 mos] is the youngest nephew of Ada, and in a family of four kids. He is younger than Jojo, and two other siblings. He always seem to be smiling and laughing. His auntie and family adore him.

Lena Margot Paisley (18) is the aunt of Jojo and Adam, plus two other kids via her older sister and the younger sister of Ada. Lena is a cross country star. She has a lot going on in her life, and cross country is such a peaceful escape for her. She is attending UCLA in the fall on a cross country scholarship. Lena is a blonde just like her older sister. Regardless of age difference, she and her sisters are incredibly close. Lena knows everything about all of Ada's college friends and all of her older sister's married friends. Lena is quite popular, but she's never mean. She is not as strong-willed as she'd like to be, and she's gotten in lots of trouble doing stupid things like drinking at a frat party with her friends. Lena has caught on to the fact that she is considered quite attractive, and sometimes likes to take advantage of this fact at parties and such, but in college, running and her degree will be her main focus. Lena has a steady boyfriend of two years. He is also a cross country runner.

Israel Matthew Duron {7} is the eldest nephew of Ada Paisley and her younger sister Lena. His is the big brother to Jojo and Adam, plus one sister. Israel was adopted three years ago and loves having a family he can call his own. He comes from a very bad, abusive background and doesn't trust easily, but he has a very close relationship with his "new" dad. Israel is a good and protective older brother, always looking out for his siblings. His interests include going to school, drawing, reading, and playing soccer.

Mira Vanessa Duron (5) ​is the younger sister of Israel, older sister of Jojo and Adam, and niece of Ada and Lena. Mira is a huge girly-girl. She loves anything glittery, sparkly, or pink. She was so happy to have a sister to dress up and play with. Mira loves Israel. He's her idol. He's so patient with her and so protective of her. Whenever bullies try to tease her on their walk to school, he always stands up to them. Mira notices how Israel isn't totally comfortable with her mommy. She hasn't done anything about it, but it does make her kind of sad. Mira loves to paint. She loves the way the paint feels on her fingers. She paints with her mommy every Sunday afternoon (her mother is a painter).

Quinn Eloise (nee Paisley) Duron [26] is the older sister of Lena and Ada, & the mother of Israel, Mira, Jojo and Adam. Quinn never let the age gap between her and her sisters keep them alart. On the contrary she is very close tk both her sisters. Quinn adores her family and would give anything in the world for them. Quinn is a low key painter hoping to one day have her artwork in a museum.

Genevieve Hazel "Ginny" Linley {25} is the best friend of Quinn Duron. She has a wonderful husband and two kids. She and Quinn like to hang out during the week and let the kids play together. Ginny has no sisters, so she often treats Ada and Lena Paisley as if they were her own sisters. Ginny and her husband own a bakery. Her husband runs the business side of it for the most part, and Ginny overseas the kitchen. They make a wonderful team and they enjoy doing it together.

Alessandra Buchanan Linley (5) is Ginny's oldest child and Mira Duron's best friend. Alessandra loves cooking. It's in her blood--her maternal grandparents owned a smaller bakery upstate and her paternal grandparents own a pizza place in New York. She loves spending time with Mira because she only has one sibling and he's a baby, so he's no fun. Mira calls her "Lessie," which she loves, because everyone else just calls her Alessandra. Alessandra was named after her favorite grandmother, Sandra. She loves spending time at their pizza place. All of the regular customers know her name and she talks with them for hours. Alessandra is quite the social butterfly. She'll definitely be popular when she's older.

Francisco "Frankie" Buchanan Linley [3] is the little brother of Allessandra and youngest child of Genevieve. Frankie just like his sister enjoys being in the kitchen and loves making a mess. He is bright, and always laughing at everything in life.

Ezekiel "Zeke" Alan George [7] is the cousin of Alessandra and Frankie via their father's brother. Zeke has an older brother and younger twin siblings. He enjoys playing with his cousin Frankie in the kitchen or building airplane models.

Collier Andrew George (3) is Zeke's little brother and the cousin of Frankie and Alessandra. Collier is a little prep. He loves trying on new clothes for his mommy, but he's a sucker for the kitchen. He idolizes his brother and loves hanging out with Frankie. Collier is a loud kid and he loves running around and playing pretend. He and his daddy love to build huge buildings and dragons and bridges with Legos.
