thanks...ya I was thinking a very feminine name! I like unisex but hubby doesnt so we wouldnt have a problem there. =)Erm, you'd have to pair it with a really feminine first name for it to be okay for a girl. Lark could just go either way gender wise, so if you did something like Maria Lark or Olivia Lark, that would be okay. Don't do Ryder Lark, then you can't tell what the gender of the baby is!

oooh I love Larkin now! For a boy or girl? Or is it unisex? thanks!I really like the name Lark but as Sam said I think it would need to be paired with a very feminine name! A alternative is Larkin! This has been a favorite on min for a while! I really like Lark but prefer Larkin!

Lark and Larkin are both unisex. Lark is my grandfather's first name and I have always wanted to use it for a mn for a boy, but it is lovely on girls as well.

I went to high school with a girl named Larkin, so I prefer it as a girl name! I suppose it could be used for either boy or girl! Larkin is more feminine to me than Lark and would be more appropriate! I am glad that you LOVE Larkin! I am pretty fond of it myself, ever since I first heard the name! It is very becoming!

Also, I much prefer Laken to Larkin. Larkin sounds a little hillbilly-esque to me, but it may be a little bit better if spelled Larken. I think, in general, E's seem to be more feminine than I's.

Personally, I like Wren. I know it's not exactly similar to Lark, but it seems to have the same vibe, im my opinion.

Oooo Wren is cute! Any first names that could make Wren a nn? Ya, I'm over Lark & Larkin there cute but I think they are more masculine then Laken is cute too! I think it's unisex?
