So. I love the names
Eric Raymond & Carl Jonathan,
but I'm really worried that Eric and Carl are too...similar? Or don't work as a sibset? All four names (Eric, Raymond, Carl, and Jonathan) are family names. I would probably call Eric by his first name and call Carl "CJ." Any opinions would be very helpful.
Much love. (:

I think that Eric and Carl work great together, they are not to similar. It would also be okay to call one of them by his first name and the other one by his initials.

The initials thing is cute, but I think Carl and Eric make an adorable combo. They don't sound too similar to me.

Actually Eric, Carl, Raymond & Johnathan go together really well. They are similar styles being recognizable/classic names that are underused or slightly out-of-fashion (not a bad thing considering the trends of the day). I would attibute all of these names to having their Hay Day in the early 80s (aside from Johnathan).

I think they work together just fine, especially if you would be calling Carl "CJ". I think the fact that both names have Cs in them helps tie them together.
