So right now I have a list of character names for my book called "Gone" and I would love opinions, suggestions for changes, and advice. Thank you in advance!

Female characters
Ireland
Emery
Suri
Sasha
Massie
Jaida/Jade/Jayde
Cayle
Male Characters
Jeffrey
Aiden
Grayson
Ethan
Noah
Luca
Some questions I need answered:
  • Do the names flow well together?
  • Are any of them too common?
  • Are any of them too unique or out there?
  • Are any of them too similar?

Female characters

Ireland- One of the only place names I like.
Emery- Love it <3
Suri- Feels a little out of place with the other names, maybe a bit too trendy? Also clashes a bit with Sasha. How about: Lauri, Rory or Wendy?
Sasha- Love <3
Massie- Cute and goes well with Ireland.
Jaida/Jade/Jayde- I'd go with either Jada or Jaida to go with the rest of your names (I like Jada the most).
Cayle- Doesn't really fit with all the sweet and feminine names. Maybe Caylin/Caelyn would be better?

Male Characters

Jeffrey- Doesn't really match all the other boy names you have, it's a bit too old-sounding (so, if it's for an older character it's okay). Maybe Jeremy would be better?
Aiden- Love <3
Grayson- It matches
Ethan- Love <3
Noah- Love <3
Luca- Love <3

You have really good taste in boy names!

1) Not all of them flow in my opinion, but I outlined which ones felt a little wrong above.
2) Maybe the boy names are a little common, but it's okay because they're still awesome names. Boy names aren't meant to be too creative, anyway.
3) The only one I find a bit too out there is Suri, but that might be spurred on by Tom Cruise.
4) Suri and Sasha. Cayle and Jaida/Jade/Jayde are kind of similar too.

Hope it helped, and good luck with your writing!!

Thank you so much for your help! All very good suggestions and comments! I'm glad you like my taste in boys names, my list is very short because I'm picky with boys names, but I love the ones I have!
