I've been digging the name Pamela (Nicknames "Pam/Pammy") but I can't think of any middle names for it right now what are your guys' ideas

I'm not sure if it's the sound you're going for but Pamela Margaret is what I first thought of.
Other ideas...Pamela Renee, Pamela Grace, Pamela Laine/Layne/Lane, Pamela Suzanne, Pamela Rose, Pamela Jane

My SO brought up Elessar last night and I didn't entirely say no because I do like Ellis.
Is spelling the nickname Ellis too much of a stretch from Elessar? Would it have to be spelled Eless?

I don't think so! I think it works fine! I know of an Olivia who has the nickname 'Lulu' so no, I don't think it's a to far of a stretch.

Looking for some first names for the middles Ambrose Dwight. Both names I really love because of certain characters in a book and a show, but I am not sure what first name would flow and pair well with it. I like Calibur Ambrose Dwight, but I would like a few other options.
(If you would like a sense of my 'naming style' my 'Combo Help' thread has a list of names I like)

From your list my favourite is Asa Jack, but I also like Asa John and Asa George. I used to have Asa Bellamy Jack on my list a while ago, and I still like it. I'll leave some other suggestions for you.

What are your thoughts on the name Caela? I know that the spelling is uncommon, and I do also like the spelling Kaela, but I much prefer it with the C.

I totally don't blame you for the uncommon spelling! Personally, I've always kind of like Kaila over Kayla. I do agree that it is really nice with a C though, it makes it a little bit more soft (and K-variations of names are sometimes seen as the more 'kreative' ones). I actually think Caela is pretty, and while it is unusual I don't think that it's bad at all.

My question(s):

How do you guys feel about August and Arthur on boys? (not siblings, just in general)

I really like August, but sometimes I'm unsure because it's a month name.

As for Arthur, I love the association with King Arthur, but feel that it might be too outdated to use as a first for a boy (and I don't really like potential nicknames Art/Artie).

I love both those names on a boy! I personally new a little boy names August (we called him Augie but I do love Gus as a Nn as well) and he was so sweet!
I also think Arthur is such a handsome classic! I don't like the NNs either, but I find it doesn't need it. And I think with a fun but not crazy unique boys name it could make a real comeback. :)

My question:

I am looking for some first names for the middle combo Ambrose Dwight. I liked Calibur but I think with the 'B' sound at the end of Calibur and beginning of Ambrose the flow is a bit off. Thanks for all help!

My question:
Been crushing on Cleo lately but I think Cleopatra is too much and I can't decide on if it I like it as a standalone name.
Standalone or nickname for Clementine or maybe even Clover?

Cleo is not a name that I would personally choose, but I can see it being cute and spunky on the right little girl!

I agree with you that I'm not really sure about it as a standalone. It could work, but I would personally like it better as a nickname. I love the idea of it as a nickname for Clementine or Clover! It's a creative and unusual nickname for those names but totally within the realm of possibility.

Thank you very much! I love many of them! Especially Elijah, Cohen/Coen, Alistair, Jameson and Westley!

And I also do think that Cleo is a beautiful standalone name. I do love the idea though of it being a NN for Clementine or Clover

Since there's no question above, I'll just ask mine.

In terms of flow, which one is better? Genevieve Amelia or Amelia Genevieve?(I'm only asking about the flow...not popularity or anything else.) Thanks! :)

I love the name Thomasina! Personally I have it on my middle name list, and I would use it for sure if my partner agreed. I don't think that it's too out there, but it might feel a bit old-fashioned for some; feminisations of names were more popular a few generations ago. If you really love it then use it, I think the nickname Sina is so cute!

Thoughts on Kandake? It is a biblical Greek translation of Candace.

Also would you prefer Kandake or Candace?

I prefer Candace, but if you really like Kandake I would say it's best suited as a middle or to just use Candace.

Adore Phillip! And Alexander is such a classic!

I think because both names are traditional names, I would pair it either with another classic, or something

different, like a surname or word name.

Here are a couple suggestions of each 'catagory':

Phillip...

Desmond

Theodore

Sebastian

Timothy

Oliver

Asher

Carson

August

Henry

Alexander...

Desmond

Theodore

Otis/Otto

Garrison

Titus

Hugh

Alfie

Clark

Frederick

Phillip/Alexander...

Brooks

Calder

Bingley

Cohen

Coleman

Hendrix/Hendrick

Huxley

Huntley

Judson

Kensington

Macarthur

Maverick

Prescott

Nixon

Oakland

Revere

Rutherford

Wolfgang

Wiloughby

Phillip/Alexander...

Archer

Brooks

Bear

Banks

Calder

Cedar

Cannon

Canyon

Fisher

Falcon

Fox

Forest

Ford

Finch

Falconer

Flint

Garrison
Gage

Griffin

Peregrine

Quest

Ridge

Rogue

Rune

Wolf

Any first name ideas for the middles Arian Ocean (boy) and Symphony Aravis (girl)?

(Both Arian and Aravis are a nod to one of my favorite Literature series, The Chronicles of Narnia, and

Ocean and Symphony are two very dear word names to me)
