Please vote on which middle name is your favorite.

Here is what I'm thinking...

Amos Oliver - Love Oliver...sounds great with Amos. I just feel the O. initial is a bit awkward....Amos O. Lastname, A.O. Lastname :\

Amos Theodore - I really like Theodore. It just doesn't have as great a flow as some of the other options.

Amos Elliot - I think this name flows great and I really like Elliot...But it would it be weird to have Eller James & Amos Elliot for siblings??

Amos Whitney - I like this one a lot, not sure if I have the guts to use it though. Would it be awful to use Whitney for a middle name today??

Amos Richard - Richard is actually my dad's first name. It sounds nice, just not sure if I'd want to name a kid after my Dad since we aren't very close.

Love Amos Oliver.
Unless your last name, has an 'O' in it.. then I dont think it has too many 'Os'.

Amos Elliot and Eller James are unfortunately too close for siblings.. but then again Elliot is only a middle name... Hmm..

I think the first 3 options flow the best, and I like all three names separately. Theodore is probably my fave, but only a little more than Oliver or Elliot. I don't think you can go wrong here. I picked Amos Oliver because I like the two O sounds. It makes the name sound a bit smoother without being totally obvious sound repetition. Amos Elliot would be second flow-wise. Theodore has the worst flow of the top three imo because the two names together, when said fast, can mush together to "A most heodore"... does that make any sense? I just suggest to avoid a T middle for Amos.

Amos Theodore is my absolute favorite. It flows the best and both names compliment each other in style and sophistication.

I'm not a fan of Whitney on a boy at all. I *know* it was originally used on boys, but it's not much anymore and it sounds feminine anyway. But, I could understand how you would like it for a boy. I mean, I LOVE Madison for a boy.

Thanks...I think with everyone's comments in mind I'm leaning toward Amos Oliver or Amos Theodore...I love the sound of Theodore as a whole name but I'm not loving any of the obvious nicknames so I think I'm going to regulate it to the middle name spot so I still get to use a name I love

As to Whitney...I think that it falls under my own special category of "Boys names that are more commonly used as girls names but I dislike on girls and they feel refreshing and sophisticated on boys" ...other names that fall under this category are Avery, Casey, Ray...
