Thoughts on Kandake? It is a biblical Greek translation of Candace.

Also would you prefer Kandake or Candace?

Kandake is actually another form of the biblical Kandakes, roughly prn. Can-dock-ace - meaning Kandace is actually pretty close to the pronunciation. So my recommendation is Kandace! :)

WDYT of Cody Anastasia?

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Cody on boys or girls, but it definitely feels very masculine to me. With that said, the combo has a good flow, the feminine Anastasia helps to balance it, and I could see Cody growing on me if I knew a girl with the name.

my question:

What do you think of Simon, and what are some good middle names for it?

I like classic and/or preppy names like August, Sterling, Arthur, Percy, etc.

I'm not too big on Simon...I personally can't picture it as a name because my neighbor's cat is Simon Tate. I much prefer Sebastien (as a middle name). That said, I think Simon August, or even Simon Augustus, makes a good combo.

My question:

WDYT of Kailor Benjamin?

Is it pronounced kai-ler or kay-ler? I prefer the first pronunciation, it has the cool sound of Kai with a trendy -er ending. I like Benjamin, I think it's very sweet and works well as a middle name. The combo works well, I'd just spell Kailor a little differently, but that's personal taste.

What's your opinion of the name Juliette, with the nickname Jett?

I've been saying Kale-er, if that makes sense...shortening the Ay sound I guess. Kye-ler does sound cute, but it makes me think of Chyler Leigh (Lexie Grey from Grey's Anatomy). I've "experimented" with different spellings, and this is the one I've kind of gravitated towards. I love the name Juliette! It's one of my favorites (spelling too)! Jett is soooo cute! I love it!! I've never heard it as a nickname for Juliette before, but I prefer it to Jules or Julie.

Veronica is one of those names that I wouldn't use but I still think is cute. You know how you still like or love a name but you just wouldn't use it? I love the nickname Ronnie! It's sooo cute! I can see it on a little girl and possibly an older girl, but if your daughter were to decide she's too old to go by Ronnie at some point, as cute as it is, then she has the full name to fall back on.

My Question:

WDYT of Merritt Victoria? What other middle names would you suggest? Some other names I like for girls, not necessarily with Merritt, are Charlotte, Amelia, Anastasia, River, Piper, Anwen, Auden, and Coralie.

I'm not a big fan of Merritt, but it's nice enough with Victoria and seems to fit with some of your other names. I think it's a little to harsh a pair for my taste though...Merritt Amelia would be really lovely!

 I love Veronica, but not Ronnie. I far prefer Vera as a nickname, but that's just me. Veronica is stunning and elegant. I say go for it!

What is your opinion on the biblical name Samson?

I have a brother name Samson, he goes by Sam. I like it, it's a really solid name, but honestly, I prefer Samuel.

What is your opinion on the biblical name Samson?

I think that Samson is very handsome, and it's not quite as popular as Samuel. I do prefer Samuel over Samson, however.

What are your thoughts about using the name Wren for a little boy?

I generally think of Wren as a more feminine name, but not overpoweringly so. I think that I would be a little surprised to hear it on a boy, but I think it is perfectly acceptable as a boy's name - even handsome, actually (I think that the use of a male Ren in Footloose may help a little). I always go back and forth with bird names (like Lark), never sure which gender I like them best on.

What are your opinions on Eliza? Too outdated for a baby girl today? Is it okay as a standalone or does it need to be short for Elizabeth?

Eliza is fantastic, as is Elizabeth, but I think Eliza works standalone as well!

I think Eliza works as a standalone name. It feels much fresher and sassier than Elizabeth, and I can see it fitting well with more trendy/popular names in a sibset, as well as more unusual names.

Both Robin and Robyn are great names for girls, Robin looks slightly more masculine in my opinion but it definitley isn't unusable for a girl nor is Robyn a tacky spelling.  All in all no matter the spelling Robin/Robyn is an adorable name!

Is Nathanial Lewis Elijah or Nathanial Lewis Ezra better
