Caleb popped into my head a few days ago and I like it but I can't find any middle names for it. I actually played around with it as a middle name for Eric but the back to back 'C's bug me. Maybe Caleb Ryan?

Lilith, Martin loves it almost as he loves Kristen. He actually came up with Lilith Snow on his own, which he's quite proud of. I like it but I can hear my family's connection to the biblical Lilith. In which lies my issue, although I'd probably call her Lily if we ever used it. Should I ignore my family's connection to the name?

Caleb Ryan is handsome! The names suit each other well. I like <3

Lilith.. I wouldn't associate it with the Bible and I grew up in church and went to bible school and took bible classes.. lol. I guess its one of those things that SO many names are biblical that it doesn't necessarily carry that title on the name all the time. Like Sarah. Sarah is very biblical, but I wouldn't assume that the parents were biblical because they used the name. I feel the same on Lilith :) Plus, ignore your families thoughts on it. Overall, it matters how YOU and Martin feel about the name. I think Lilith Snow is lovely :)

Caleb is a very nice and handsome name, but it's never been one of my favorites. I don't like the "b" sound at the end for some reason. I guess it kind of sounds like you have a stuffy nose when you say it out loud, for lack of a better explanation lol.

For me me, Lilith is kind of like Lucifer. Though neither names can quite be categorized as biblical because neither of them actually appear in the bible themselves, both are pretty well known stories and characters that are strongly associated with the biblical canon. That being said, neither of their stories give the name a very pleasant connotation, which sadly taints them, even for people who are not Christian or Jewish. Lilith would not quite be on the level of Lucifer, but I would still worry about the negative connection to the name.

I would stick with Lily, Lillian, or Liliana

Thanks guys. I'm mainly worried about the negative connection. My first thought when Martin said Lilith was Biblical. And I pointed that out to him hut he's being stubborn on it. He's concerned about how a name sounds more than the connection. Plus when you look at the meaning on the name it's night monster or something similar. I don't know if I could give my kid a name that had such negative connections.

And Caleb Baker, do the back to back 'B's sound okay?

I love both names immensely! My next daughter would be Lilith if my husband allowed but we agreed on Elizabeth if we had a girl again. He's just not a fan of the name because of the sound, I on the other hand LOVE the flow of it, as for the negativity associated with it all depends on you. If it bothers you what other people think then go with a name you're more comfortable with and maybe incorporate Snow in it somehow or have Snow as a middle name (which also I love, especially with Lilith), butnif you decide you really like it regardless of what your family think then go with it! After all your family are going to love this baby regardless lf her name. As for a middle name for Caleb, why not Caleb Eric if you liked Eric so much? (If we have a son, he'll be Eric!)
