Jenny (no middle name) Booth (4) wandered around Kyra's off-campus apartment one day a few months ago. Kyra took the little orphan girl in and called her Jenny. Jenny's mother committed suicide two years ago and her father abandoned her a few months ago. Jenny's real name is Alaska Lacey Miles, but she didn't remember it when Kyra asked her name. Jenny is a quiet, often sad girl whom only Kyra and Noah can cheer up. She has even laughed a few times since she came to live with them. Jenny can lift objects with her mind. She fits in well with her supernatural family and she really likes it there.

Roderick Bruno Miles [22] is Alaska Lacey Miles aka Jenny's father. He met her mother in high school. He was a senior and she was a sophomore. He really loved Jenny's mother and never meant for her to get pregnant. He didn't leave Jenny's side the whole time and started working two jobs to support Jenny's mother and the new baby that would come. Jenny's mother got diagnosed with post partum depression. Roderick would come hon=me and find out that Jenny had been neglected of food, and clothes, and a change of diaper. Roderick couldn't afford a nany nor pills required for Jenny's mother depression. He got an outside job with a drug dealer and made enough money to hire a psychologist for Jennys mom. But when Jenny was two, he came home to find Jenny screaming and his beloved love, had committed suicide. He couldn't handle it losing the love of his life and now he was in bigger trouble with the drug deal and for the safety of Jenny, he left her so she wouldn't get hurt. Roderick recently found out he can talk to dead souls, including the love of his life.

Blair Olivia Miles (20) is Roderick's baby sister. Blair is also pretty wild and has had her share of drugs and depression. Blair is generally happy, though, and always finds a guy to mess around with for the night. Nothing has been serious, though. She hasn't seen Roderick in years as they both ran away when they were each 15. Blair's parents fought a lot and her father often physically and sexually abused her. This has caused her to distrust men.

Stephen David LaRiviere [20] is one of Blair's recent flings. The two of them hook up occasionally, but it's nothing serious. Stephen usually has the ability to see someone's past by touching them, but for some reason this hasn't worked with Blair. Stephen has become intrigued, and wants to know why his usual powers don't work on Blair.

Henry "Hank" Lawrence Vaughn (61) knows exactly why Stephen's powers don't work on Blair. Hank isn't supernatural, but his mother was, and he has dedicated his life to researching and discovering magical phenomena. Blair has counter-supernatural abilities, meaning most magic doesn't work on her, though every Counter has their Achilles Heel. Hank is easily excited and divorced his wife twenty years ago. He has children in their late twenties and early thirties, some of which have inherited his mother's abilities.

Samuel "Sam" Lawrence Vaughn [33] is the oldest of Hank's kids. He has a two sons and one daughter. He loves all his children very much and his wife. Sam works as a cop, and is currently been on the news lately for being interviewed on a case he is involved with. Sam developed the power his grandmother had of enhanced senses in general which make him a great cop, plus he knows when someone is lying.

Isabella Caitlin Vaughn (9) is Sam's oldest child. She also has the gift to tell when someone is lying and is very close with her father. Isabella's photographic memory led to a huge break in Sam's latest case, one in which there were a series of child abductions. A boy in Isabella's class was abducted and she remembered the license plate of the car that picked him up. She loves her family and is very protective of her little brothers. She really looks up to a woman Sam's age at Sam's department who questioned her about the abduction. She is constantly tailing her when she comes to work with "Daddy." Isabella once nailed a counterfeiter when she caught him in his lie.

Matthew David Vaughn [7] is Sam's son, the younger brother of Isabella, and the older brother of another boy. He inherited magical powers from his father's side of the family, but rather than being able to tell when people are lying or being able to read minds, Matthew is telekinetic. He has the ability to move things much bigger than himself with his mind. He once used his power to save the life of a classmate who was trapped under a car. Matthew usually uses his powers to tease his little brother, moving things around in the house, and then convincing his little brother that ghosts did it.

Julia Danielle Teagan "JT" (31) is one of Sam's co-workers. She questioned Isabella about the abduction and Matthew about the car-lifting incident. JT has no family of her own, just the department. She has "daddy issues" and is afraid of commitment. She has noticed Isabella tagging along behind her on days that Sam's wife is working at her part-time job. She has grown quite attached to the Vaughns, more attached to anyone than she's ever been, and she's terrified. There's a cocky guy who hasn't yet made the position of detective (one which JT currently holds) who is always asking her to lunch, and she thinks she might actually like him. In the field, JT is quick and skilled.

Bruce Jerome Daniels[33] is a man running up to take up the position as detective. He is very cocky and flirts with the ladies, and the ladies flirt back. He is recently divorced, and has three kids, (ages ranging from 12-5). He sees them only on weekends and wishes to see them more often but his ex wife is stubborn and possessive. Bruce has taken particular interest in JT, whom he likes to go out to lunch with.

Audrey Claire Daniels (7) is Bruce's middle child. Audrey misses her daddy and likes the nice man at his office (Sam) because she identifies with him--Audrey can see snippets of the future. She foretold JT getting shot in the field and her parents' divorce (though that wasn't much of a feat--they were unhappy together for years before the divorce). Audrey is shy and reserved. She doesn't like talking to people but has warmed up to some of Bruce's co-workers. She thinks her mother is mean and doesn't like living with her, though she does like living with her brothers.

Benjamin Cole Daniels [12] is the older brother of Audrey, and a younger brother. He absolutely thinks of his father as his idol, but now he doesn't know what to think of either of his parents. He is mad at them for breaking up. He is mad at his father for leaving, and his mother for always bad mouthing their father. He is really distant from the family, except for his siblings. He really hates his mother's new boyfriend. Ben has the power to impose thoughts into people's mind.

Nicholas Ryan "Nicky" Daniels (5) is the little brother of Audrey and Benjamin, son of Bruce. Nicky is a "ladies man." He loves attention and can charm his way out of any situation, even at his age. His mom, who has supernatural powers, is beginning to see the development of a power that bends people to Nicky's will. Nicky often tries to cheer his brother and sister up as they seem sad all the time. He thinks his mom's boyfriend is a "meanie-head."

Carlisle "Carl" Andrew Evancho [34] is the boyfriend of Nicky, Ben, and audrey's mother. He is very manipulative and a bit of a jerk around the kids, but like an angel around their mother. His family is rich, and he buys his girlfriend gifts all the time. He spoils her to the point that she won't say no when he proposes to her. He loves her cooking and cannot wait till he can have someone to do his laundry, make him dinner and give him massages. He works at the police station. He see his girlfriend more of an object to toy with rather than a person.

Jane Elizabeth Evancho (13) is Carl's daughter from another relationship. Neither Carl nor Jane's mother ever cared for her properly. Her depressed mother eventually committed suicide and Jane was placed into the foster system. She loathes her parents and wishes she had a normal life like her friends. Jane mostly sits outside in front of her foster home writing tragedies. Her foster family is really making an effort to provide her the love she always wanted, and she really appreciates them, but she isn't ready to commit to a family.

Theodore "Teddy" Wyatt Collins [2] is the littlest one of the foster family that cares for Jane. Teddy is an empath which can sense, feel and understand the emotions, feelings, hopes, dreams, desires, and fears of others. He is really close to Jane and will often enter a trance state where he looks at Jane silently his eyes looking into hereyes, and then start to speak clearly, but then if he blinks he laughs and becomes himself again. He really feels sorry for Jane, and tries to cheer her up.

Natalia "Tally" Brynn Collins (9) is the older sister of Teddy and younger foster sister of Jane. Tally can generate objects out of thin air by just willing them to. She loves making bunnies and flowers appear with her gift. She wants to be close to Jane, but she refuses her advances. She often makes little swirls of light appear in the air and she and Jane play with them.

Jonathan "Jon"  Flynn Collins [13] is the older brother of Teddy, and Tally, along with his foster sister, Jane. Jon is the student council vice president at school, a member of the drumline in the band, and is a track star. Jon loves hanging out with friends and usually invites Jane so that she can have some fun, but she usually rejects his invitations. He and his mother are secretly planning a surprise birthday party for Jane. Jon has the power to read peoples minds.

Charlotte Emma McCall (13) is Jon's girlfriend. Charlotte plays electric guitar and sings in the band. She also loves track and that's how she and Jon met, at track tryouts. The two of them were easily the best. Charlotte is very popular and has been in a few movies. She constantly feels like she's living in her smart, talented sister's shadow. She has the ability to manipulate memories. Very minor changes, but still.

Katherine Sarah McCall [17] is Charlotte's older sister. Katherine is very intelligent, and is expected to be the valedictorian of her high school class when she graduates in the spring. She is musically talented like her little sister, and plays piano and violin. Katherine can be very snobbish and rude, but is very popular. Like Charlotte, she has the ability to manipulate memories, but her ability is much stronger than her little sister's. Everyone likes her because she can change any memories that people have of her being unkind to them.  Only one of her classmates is immune to her power, because they have supernatural powers of their own that counteract Katherine's power.
