In one of my stories I have a little girl that needs a first name, her last name is James.
She is 6 years old. She plays soccer. She likes to do yoga. She likes to build forts. She likes to read books. She likes to study the stars. She loves to play chess. Her favorite color is pink. She hates frilly things. She mostly wears pants and t-shirts, but doesn’t object to dressing up.
I have four names picked out for my character:
- Amelia nn Miley or AJ
- Fiona nn Fi
- Sophie
- Mackenzie nn Kenzie
I found a picture on fotosearch that is close to what I imagine the little girl would look like: Pic

The girl you describe and the picture make me think of Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird. I would think she would have a name that is a little more boyish, or that she could have a nn that is more boyish. Another poster mentioned the name Beckham nn Beck for a girl. Personally, I like Finley nn Finn or Noa. Out of the name you have though, I like Sophie nn Soph best.

I actually picture a Fiona! It would be perfect because you wouldn't picture her to have a girly name!
My second pick would be Sophie/Sophia, but I still think Fiona would be best!
I hope this helps, and please let us know what you choose, I'm very curious!
