I think I want to keep the spelling the same, but I would like to explore some more spellings for Alexander. I don't want REALLY weird spellings like: Aleckxjanderh :)

Here are some I could come up with:

Aleckzander
Alexsander
Alexzander
Alecksander
Aleczacder
Alekzander
Alexonder
Alexannder
Allexander
Alexandder
Alexandre (though I always think of Alex-andray)
Alexanderr

WDYT?

I love Alexander! I think probably the spelling that isn't too weird, would be Aleksander, because it's pretty common in other countries I think.

Hope I helped some Jay :)

I was friends with a kid from Louisiana named Alesander. The only spellings I would use is Alexander and Aleksander.

Those are all neat! I'd probably stick with Alexander though..although if I had to pick another one it'd probably be either Alexsander or Alekzander. :)

I prefer the spelling Alexander.(; It's the most common, and spelling it any other way would just lead to confusion and mispronunciation.

Oh, that's funny--I love Alex, but don't like Alexander.
Oh well!

Xander's nice...and I think whatever spelling you choose would be wonderful. :D

Good luck!

I looooove Alexander!! <3

But, though I dislike variations, I do love Aleksander :) [or even Aleksandr]. Its the Russian variation, so I comfort myself with the idea of it being legitimate in another country/language! :D

I dislike the nick name Alex on Alexander.. I mean, I love the name Alex [my cousins name is Alex!] but I just looove Alexander. And I watched this movie a while back with an Alexander called "Xan" so I guess I might end up calling a kiddo by Xan if I decide I really want a nick name... <3 Maybe even Lex. But yeah. Xan! ;)

Mmm, Aleksandr is too cute and foreign feeling! :D Though, if you always have to spell your name out and don't want that for a kiddo, then I'd highly recommend sticking with the original spelling Alexander. And all original spellings in general <3 Alexander is so popular, especially this spelling. :)
