Hi guys! So... I just found out I'm having twins, and they're both girls! I'm so happy, its always what I've wanted but I have a slight problem.
I'm irish, and my husband is Japanese, and we live in tokyo.
So I need two names for first and middle that... that have some of my irish roots, but wouldn't sound too odd when the girls go to school.
Thanks!

I'm not really too familiar with Japanese names and what would be easy to pronounce or what's popular to use over there, but here are a few of my favorite Irish names to get you started

Siobhan
Sinead
Saoirse
Aileen
Kathleen
Caoimhe
Roisin
Niamh

i studied Japanese at school and remember these names...

Kana (KA-NA)
Aya (A-YA)
Mai
Amaya (AH-MA-YA)-Night Rain
Asa (UH-SA)-Born in the morning
Hana (HA-NA)-Flower
Kai-Forgivness
Kaya (KA-YA) Resting place
Miya (MI-YA)-Temple
Tori (TO-RI)-Bird

Personally i love Hana beautiful meaning and works in english and japanese and Miya, meaning isnt as nice but it does translate to english well. its hard when i look at the names i pn them differently then i have to remember that japanese is all about syllables.
