I'm not having a kid yet.  lol  I've recently started loving the name Freya for a girl (Old-fashioned names are awesome.  I just hope this one doesn't get too popular.  It's at #266 now, so still uncommon), but I'm stumped on middle names.  I prefer classics, but I also love Irish, Latvian, Scottish, and Scandinavian names, and some international names in general as long as they're easy to spell and pronounce.  The heritage names aren't a requirement though.  I'm cool with either 1 or 2 middle names, depending on how they flow together.  Not a fan of word names, BNOGs, "unisex" names for girls, or anything obviously trendy/modern or made up.

Freya ______ Fleming (Fleming is my mom's maiden name and I'd prefer to use it for my kids instead of my actual last name McDonald if Florida allows that.  XD)

So far, I like:

Freya Rose/Rosalie (Rose honors my mom's late godmother/Grandmom's best friend, whose last name was Rosemann.  Rose is really common though)

Freya Elizabeth (Family name [great-aunt], but again, really common)

Freya Caroline

Freya Valerie

Freya Victoria

Freya Madeline (I hesitate because one of my 3rd cousins is naming her soon-to-be-born daughter Madalynn (or Madalyn, I forget which spelling she said she's using, but the pronunciation is different than what I'm going for.  I like Mad-ah-line, not Mad-ah-lyn)

I'm not 100% sold on any of them right now.

I LOVE Freya Rose/Freya Rosalie!! You might even consider Freya Rosemary? Freya is such a pretty name. Also according to what Ive read, most places will let you choose whatever surname you want for your child, even if it doesnt match your legal surname so Florida should allow you to give them the name Fleming :)

Thanks for the info on the last name!

I like Freya Rosemary.  My late maternal grandmother's name was Mary, so in a way, Rosemary would honor her too.  :)

I like Freya Isobel (I prefer Isabel or Isabelle), Freya Adelaide, Freya Vivian, Freya Amelie (one of my cousins named her youngest daughter Amelia and her oldest is Emma, so I probably wouldn't use this one, but it's beautiful), and Freya Anneliese.
