Juliana sounds prettier to me and more sophisticated.

I have a bit of an aversion to Jule-names because in my experience they're all crazy. So Jocelyn gets my vote.

I prefer Jocelyn if it is pronounced like 'Joe-suh-lyn', Juliana is alright, but I prefer Juliet, over Juliana.
Jocelyn is pretty and I like the idea of 'Josie' as a nickname

I like both names but I prefer Jocelyn to Juliana. It has a long history but still sounds modern. It's classy but not posh. Good luck!

I really like both names... and I get such different pictures in my head for each name. I think I prefer Jocelyn. I have an Ella (from before it was so popular! named after her grandmother) but it has become such a "princess-y" name. I think I tend to put Juliana in that category, too - no good reason why, I guess. Don't get me wrong, "Ella" is great for my daughter, and she loves it, but I would be less likely to choose it today.
