I started a new story recently and I picked out two names for the twin girls, but I'm not sure if they fit. I'm welcome to ideas, but I really want both names to start with the letter S.

Twin 1: Scarlett Felicity King (Current name) Nickname: Scar

Description: Scarlett Felicity King was not your average teenage girl. She loathed everyone with a burning passion. She had her reasons of course, but she wouldn’t let anyone in on it. Not even Savannah, her best friend and, her twin sister. She was considered the toughest girl in school, but boy they did not know jack about her.

Twin 2: Savannah Kaylin King (Current name) Nickname: Sav/Savvy

Description: Savannah Kaylin King, the twin sister of Scarlett. Everyone knew they were related, but they didn’t know how related. Savannah keeps trying to pass it off as cousins, because let’s face it, Scarlett’s a total mess. That doesn’t stop Savannah from loving her sister any less. She just wishes she knew what was going on it that strange mind of her twin.

They have an older brother who I named Spencer, whose nickname is Spence. I picture Scarlett to be played by Autumn Shields, Savannah to be played by Willow Shields, and Spencer to be played by River Shields.

Some important things to know, even though the girls are twins, they do not live with each other. They're 17, turning 18 a couple months into the story. Scarlett lives with her mom and Spencer until Spencer moved in with Savannah and their father.

Please let me know if I should change one of their names or if they sound good for being twin names.

I feel as if Scarlett is too obvious of a choice to an "angry" and angsty teenager, but it may just be me! Personally, I would go with something that is completely different and may sound very sweet and innocent to counteract her hardness - this is a choice I often tend to make so the character doesn't seem too named after their characteristics.

Here are some names that may fit :)

Sophie

Sally

Simone

Sierra (love this with Savannah)

Summer

I agree with MalFunctioning. Scarlett, in my opinion, seems like an angry name, so it might be better to go with something a little less predictable. I'm really sorry if this sound rude! I like Sasha instead of Scarlett, and Scarlett instead of Savannah.  :)
