10 weeks pregnant and I think we have a boy name chosen already but not a girl. Not sure what we are having yet but I want something picked out for both genders. I want to use my grandmother's name somehow, Debbra Lynn. I can't come up with anything that sounds right other than using the Lynn as the middle name but I kinda want to use Debbra. Help!!

Lydia is a really pretty Lynn alternative with the additional D and A added from Debbra.

Debbra is pretty by itself and a lovely contribution but as an alternative, using the alternate spelling of Deborah/Devorah is an option.

Debbra/Deborah means bee and there are may cute names that share the meaning! I really like Bee itself too but there's also Honey, Abbee, Queenie, etc.

I second the Lydia suggestion! it's a lovely name!

Have you also considered names inspired by hers or finding a name similar? The first ones I can think of are Della, Darby, and Linnea. If you don't find a name you like that's similar in that respect, what if you used a name with the same meaning or a similar one?

Debbra is variant of Deborah, a name from the Old Testament meaning "bee."

Lynn - according to Nameberry - is the Welsh diminutive of Linda and means "lake."

And if all else fails, maybe you could find a name that relates to something your grandmother loved or connects to a memory you have with her. Let us know if you find anything you like. Best of luck!!
