Our baby girl is due in less than a week and we are still debating on girls name. Which name do you like best and why?

 

1)  Isla Rose

2)  Emerson Rose (with the nickname Remi as I feel like Emmy is so popular nowadays)

3)  Quinn Rose

 

We are in the UK (originally from the US) and know that Isla is very popular over here and know that it is growing in the US but were trying to avoid a top 20 name.

 

Our Concerns:

 

Isla - I know it's trending up in the US but I don't think it would ever get that popular over there. My husband disagrees as he sees that so many girl names right now that are ending in A are becoming trendy and popular

Emerson - There's just the concern of it being seen as very masculine instead of gender neutral

Quinn - No real concerns. My husband likes gender neutral names & this is one we both could agree on

I really like Isla Rose and Quinn Rose! I think my favorite name is Isla. Maybe, if you're worried about the name's popularity you could try a less common middle name. I love Rose! What about:

Isla Rosemary

Isla Rosamund

Isla Primrose

Isla Rosalind

Isla Rose is my favorite! As for its trendiness, I don't know a single person named Isla. You could, however, use Isla Rose as a double name to set her apart.

I love Quinn! I think Rose might sound a little funny though because it's one syllable. What about Rosie, Rosalind, or Rosemary?

Emerson Rose is my first choice (love Remi as a NN!) And Isla is my 2nd favorite!
