I named my son Trevor Raymond and I think that is hard to say. I am nervous that he will be made fun of or people will slur his name. I am having a hard time with this and losing sleep and I'm hoping I can get some advice from you. Do you like the name? Is it hard to say?

Trevor Raymond is a great name! It is strong and powerful! I believe it is a very handsome choice. I really like how it sounds.
I can't assure you 100% that he will not hear a joke someday because unfortunately kids make jokes about everyone and everything at school. However, Trevor Raymond is a good and safe name, in my opinion. I don't think it is very difficult to pronounce. And he will probably go by is first and last name 95% of the times!

Here are some things for you to consider:
- How did you chose your son's name and why?
- Do you love your son's name? What's your favorite/least favorite part?
- What name was your first choice?
- Since when are you having second thoughts? Why?
- How did your family and friends reacted to the name? Is that important to you? Has that changed your perspective of the name?
- Would you prefer Raymond Trevor?
- Does Trevor suit your son well?
- If you had to made the decision today, would you still choose the same name?

If you really don't feel that the name you chose suits your son or if you realize that you actually don't love the name, you can change it!
Think about it carefully and when you're ready, decide what you want to do.
Go with whatever it feels right for you and your child!

Good luck!
