Spunky, Sassy, beautiful... I can't get over Imogen. But it seems to me the Imogene (im-oh-jeen) is more popular. I always thought of it as im-oh-jen, but I could be wrong. What do you guys think? I'm also stumped for combos, so help with that would be great. Thank you all!

I'd pronounce Imogen (im-o-jen) and Imogene (im-o-jean) the same as you, I think. I like both versions, still debating which one more, although I think I'm leaning towards Imogen. And I think the e at the end makes it obvious that the pronunciation is a little different. Ultimately it's just a question of which you like more.

I'll see if I find some time to make a list of combos :)

I like Imogen! A classic, old fashioned name that fits right in as names like Greta, Margaret, Evelyn, Lydia, Florence, etc are starting to make a comeback. Like Yas, I would tend to say Imogen as im-o-jen and Imogene as im-o-jean.

With Imogen being three syllables, I think a one syllable middle name would compliment it well. Here are some suggestions:

Imogen Rose

Imogen Faye

Imogen Niamh

Imogen Eve

Imogen Claire

Imogen Grace

Imogen Kate

Imogen Pearl

Imogen Ruth

Imogen Sage

Imogen Sloane

Imogen Maeve

I like the crisp Kate sound-wise, but I'd prefer something like Faye or Ruth stylistically speaking. Thank you so much, Rose! I'm not afraid to embrace the clunk....

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! There is something so nms yet beautiful about Imogen Bronte, and Imogen Darcy is fun too. I first encountered Imogen when reading a really great book by my favorite author about author friends called Imogen and Darcy so that's a pretty cool coincidence. Imogen Florence is STUNNING! Seriously considering adding that one to my signature. Thank you so much, Yas!

Happy to help! I'll see if I can come up with more combos (names more like Florence) :)

Glad you found one you liked!

Updated signature! I also got rid of Augustus Wilder, Lyra Marigold, Winter Coraline, Luella Pearl and Matilda Snow and replaced them with Araminta Maeve, Imogen Florence, Antigone Pearl, and Clement Jude! Thank you so much, Yas and Rose, for your help with a middle for Imogen!
